My question is at the bottom if you'd like to skip this. I am 21 (Male) 22 in the spring. Around the age of 11 or so I discovered masturbation. Have been doing it once or twice on about a daily basis since then including pornography. At the age of 17 I realized the damaging effects through research & my own experience because I have also since about 11 suffered from manic depression, a panic disorder and agoraphobia. Using the masturbation as my only form of "release", it's wonderful how the two and two work together....Due to my limited knowledge and nobody in my life with the slightest intelligence I continued to fall into pieces over the years trying to figure this out. You can imagine the world of other problems this has caused. Anyway I have been struggling to defeat this for years. As much as I now work on awareness/mindfulness, meditation and other areas of my life this is still a struggle. Balancing my sexual energy is the only big obstacle in my way as of right now at least that's how it seems. I get pretty down because every relapse is a huge set back and need this to get through my panic disorder. I've gotten rid of porn long ago since I never really had an addiction to that but general masturbation is still an issue. I would try self karezza methods and meditation but would eventually fall. I went a month without masturbation and in that month I made more progress with my life then I have in over four years. I did this another time very long ago too and had the same result. Then I tried balancing it once a week, trying new methods and well my progress with depression and anxiety slowly began to slip over the next three months. When I used to have a sexual partner these problems were still the same even without masturbation. My current goal is to make it three months without but am having a tough time. (Being stuck in your room for years at a time makes this extra difficult)

My real question here is because of starting regular masturbation at the age of 11-22 do any of you know of possible permanent damage it's caused from a biological standpoint? Did I stunt my growth? (I used to be almost 6 feet tall now I'm 5'10 although other factors can play their part) Are there areas of my brain that I have damaged to the point of no return? Or any other irreversible things that have gone on as of result?

Masturbation destroys the mind and exacerbates illnesses like manic depressive disorder, schizophrenia, etc. When a person ejaculates their semen, the sexual organs perform peristaltic movements in order to reabsorb lost forces. However, through masturbation, cold air is absorbed into the sexual organs which eventually reach the brain and cause dementia.

There are numerous methods to cure the damages caused by masturbation, such as runes, sacred rites (including the vajroli mudra), and sexual magic.

Study the thread referenced below regarding how to kick the horrible addiction of masturbation!

Joyful in hope, suffering in tribulation, be thou constant in thy prayer.

Benedictis, qui venit in nomine Domini. Osanna in excelsis.

"Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest!"

Thanks for the reply and the links. This is all great stuff, have already been doing a ton of research plus look forward to reading and learning much more. But this doesn't really answer my question about irreversible damage. And I'd even like to add another question which is what happens if people on this path end up mastering white tantra or alchemy but are just having orgasms without ejaculating? Similar to when people become attached to the pleasurable experiences through meditation ect. I have read that in tantra/karezza (Very similar to what you guys talk about here but on a biological standpoint rather than spiritual which both go hand in hand) They think that all of the life force rests within the semen or ejaculation but ignore the fact that orgasms even without ejaculation have extreme psychological effects physically and mentally.

I'm sure all of these answers are within the texts and within my own self but still would like to see what someone here thinks.
