It seems to me that until I 'just know' my wife and I must continue our practice of sexual alchemy. For me that means I want to practice daily, aside from the Sabbath, in order to reach the goal. However, my wife does not. We are most definitely not equally yoked when it comes to balance of spiritual experience or maturity.

I have read this:
http://sacred-sex.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=134&catid=13&Itemid=40

It says what time of day and such but not how often as far as if it should be done daily. Or maybe just when one feels the need to create energy.

This causes confusion for me because that basically means I can't get a full Kundalini awakening unless my wife is in the mood. This can't be right. How can the salvation of an individual be dependent upon another individual?

Am I correct that I will 'just know' when I have developed past the point of needing to practice sexual alchemy? If not, are there signs I can be aware of that will let me know it's time to move on?

I have it in my mind that it is a step by step process. Maybe this is where I am getting fowled up. Is there an order in which to do the work or do I just do what fits at the moment? This would be an ideal system to follow, but Alchemy seems to have a formula to follow and so does Kabbalah.

Thank you and may Peace and Love be abundant.

Interesting, this brings new meaning to a scripture I have known for many years.

Let me make an attempt at a simple interpretation.

"Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband.
The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife."

- I must submit myself to her spiritual (sexual) needs, even if I don't want to and vise verse.

"Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency."

- We must not withhold from each other unless by mutual consent; and at that time only for the purpose of fasting or prayer. Then continue in our Great Work so that we do not give in to our carnal desires.

- The rest seems to give instruction on how to handle it if one withholds from the other continuously or if one is a believer in the Great Arcanum, and the other not.

This is interesting because recently, I was dismayed at how my wife usually chooses to watch television (Pineal atrophy machine as I call it) rather than study scripture, meditate, or do spiritual work of any sort with me. As such, I withheld from her, thinking to myself, "..you're too late and wasted your time on worldly things", basically punishing her in my own way. This was satanic act by me. After a day or two, we began to quarrel. It has been some time since we had had any minor disagreements even. As my anger began to rear its ugly head I realized something. I had turned my wife away when she was seeking salvation. Christ would never do this. As such, the pendulum was swinging back as it inevitably will do. As I had withheld from my wife spiritual growth, so was it being withheld from me in the form of old anger welling up in me, conflict.

Thank you for allowing me to work this out on the forum. Hopefully it can be an aid to someone else later. Of course, if I have made any fatal mistakes in my interpretation. Please let me know. I would hate to mislead myself or others due to an ignorant synthesis.

Thank you and may Peace and Love be abundant.

Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman.
Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.
Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband.
The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife.
Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.
But I speak this by permission, and not of commandment.
For I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that.
I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I.
But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn.
And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:
But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.
But to the rest speak I, not the Lord: If any brother hath a wife that believeth not, and she be pleased to dwell with him, let him not put her away.
And the woman which hath an husband that believeth not, and if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her not leave him.
For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy.
But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases: but God hath called us to peace.
For what knowest thou, O wife, whether thou shalt save thy husband? or how knowest thou, O man, whether thou shalt save thy wife?
But as God hath distributed to every man, as the Lord hath called every one, so let him walk. And so ordain I in all churches.
Is any man called being circumcised? let him not become uncircumcised. Is any called in uncircumcision? let him not be circumcised.
Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God. - 1 Corinthians 7: 1-19

Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah,
the Root of David, has prevailed to open the book,
and to loose the seven seals thereof. - Revelation 5: 5
