When a person with sleeping consciousness falls alseep in their bed, we are told that the unconscious, mechanical projection of the astral body occurs.

Then the person wanders around, repeating everything they did throughout the day.

If this is true, why are my dreams not repetitions of the day? My memories of dreams are not what my life is each day.

I do not dream that I am at work, or doing laundry, or I'm in the shower, or I'm reading a book, or typing on this forum, shopping for food, etc.

Can I be seen, wandering around the astral world, repeating my day, but I'm dreaming?

I feel that I am mindful and that I live in the moment; but I don't feel "awake." I feel like I haven't progressed in understanding, or awakening.

Awakening from moment to moment requires "tremendous super-efforts." What is that?

People in the astral plane have no cognizance; they repeat the activities they performed during the day either in a state of total unconsciousness (eikasia) or in a hypnotic, dreaming state (pistis).

Tremendous super-efforts are known by the athletes of meditation who work diligently transforming impressions moment by moment. Try to observe your mind as it is throughout an entire day, re-evaluating your perception of life through self-observation (dianoia), and you will learn what super-efforts entails.
