Do Asana a little, Pranayama a little
Reflect a little, meditate a little
Do Japa a little, do Kirtan a little
Write Mantra a little, have Satsang a little
Serve, Love, Give, Purify, Meditate, Realize

You need to take care of your body; therefore exercise is important. But so is meditation, pranayama, mantra recitation, etc. So what do we do?
As Swami Sivananda indicated, it is best in the long term to do a little bit of practice very frequently and during free time, if that is possible. You must reflect on your own psychological disposition and cyclical nature to see what is the best time for you to practice given your responsibilities throughout the day. You must also analyze which practices are most essential to your well being based on your experience. This establishes priorities and solidifies your esoteric work ethic.
Careful assessment, planning and management of your esoteric practices with your daily responsibilities is one of the keys to success in yoga. But as it was indicated by the Master:
All of these esoteric disciplines of the mind must completely saturate our daily life.

Therefore, one cannot separate work from spiritual work, since they are integral for Self-realization.
