I saw another post in which a Cancer asked for a description of his keyword, Fecundation. Might I do the same? Does anyone have a good conception of how to describe the Leo's keyword, Life?

Life. Life sounds so general.

I understand that astrology is a minor aspect to self-exploration, but for the sake of understanding this life I inhabit, I thought I'd ask. Any other pertinent information concerning Leo's would be appreciated, I have the Zodiacal Course and a good handle on the sign, but one's knowledge can always grow.

Another question. What of the other signs on a Natal Chart, such as the Ascendant. Are they significant enough to explore those signs and their keywords, minerals and colors as well, or should we focus on our core sign? Mine is Aquarius, and I realize this means, as far as (unenlightened) astrologers believe, how I view and am viewed in the world. Important, or a mere distraction from listening to my Inner Being?

Thank you for any scraps of knowledge you might have.

Life is חַי Chai, as in עץ חיים Otz Chaiim, and חוה Chavah, Eve, the Mother of the Living, the second half of the name of Iod-Chavah, יהוה Jehovah, Lord of Hosts, Who is the Cosmic Christ.

חַי Chai, the life of God, is within sex. Leo the Lion of the Tribe of Judea, is Chokmah, the Son or Solar Logos, Who expresses himself as the strength of the Lord derived from שדי אל חַי Shaddi El Chai, the Almighty Living God of Yesod. Therefore, the power of the Lion of the Law of Katancia is determined by one's sexual behavior, since the majesty of Leo shines from the purest atoms of the sexual creative energy.

While I am not an expert in astrology (whether expressed within Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism, and other Eastern traditions), it has not been an imperative in the Gnostic studies to make astrology complicated and elaborate, since the science of working with the magic of the stars (astrotheurgy) is very simple: it requires an awakened consciousness. However, most students in this tradition who study astrology have not done so from the standpoint of an awakened consciousness.

Yes, there are influences from different zodiacal signs within our present mode of existence, but we have to remember that all of us are mostly in our last opportunities within a span of a hundred and eight humanoid existences. Therefore we already have the zodiac fairly much ingrained within our psyche. It is only now a matter of studying ourselves, not looking for more complexity or theoretical implications through other systems, which, for your information, have mostly been elaborated by sleeping people.

Such material has been considered unnecessary by recent Masters in our tradition, since charts do not awaken the soul. However, many students of occultism turn astrological theory into a religion, and attempt to walk the path with their intellects. I am not saying that this is your particular case, but we speak in a general way for all students of our website because there is too much curiosity within students of occultism. Instead of reading extensively about such details, we chose to place our priorities, as Samael Aun Weor taught us, on our ability to investigate astrological phenomena within the superior worlds.

The best advice you can receive regarding your zodiac is to visit the temple of your given sign within the astral plane, not creating complicated charts to map out your life, which are superficial at best. Charts can only do so much; they do not signify comprehension of astrological phenomena within your very psycho-somatic and spiritual nature.

We say this to cut off a lot of the curiosity students have in this tradition towards making astrotheurgy unnecessarily complex. Whether ascending or descending signs are something mandatory to know—can be a matter of debate. Astrological charts have never helped me to astral travel to the planet Mars, to receive wisdom from that temple of wisdom governed by Samael-Aries. Instead, what one needs is psychological and spiritual development, and not strict emphasis and over reliance on systems of thought that, honestly speaking, are antiquated for our purposes.

Joyful in hope, suffering in tribulation, be thou constant in thy prayer.

Benedictis, qui venit in nomine Domini. Osanna in excelsis.

"Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest!"

Beautiful description, I feel encouraged and inspired by your wisdom. Blessings, Benedictus, I shall not let theories clutter my mind but instead walk a little farther down this road each day.
