Some of my friends at my mosque have recently become aware of gnosis and wish to progress according to the teachings. For those who arleady have more than one wife, how are they to progress? what role can the second wives play in this case, now that only one of them will be practicing arcanum azf with their husband or any form of sexual contact for now on? How are they to maintain a proper loving home environment without the secondary wives feeling unloved or deprived of effection? Would it be wise in this scenario to wait until later in life, after all the wives have bared children already, before starting down the path.

This is a very difficult position to be in. Only Allah, the Being, can decide with whom should partners practice. Such a question cannot be answered over the forum, but only by the will of divinity.

Such a will can only be developed through contemplation (mushahadah, meditation), which is how the disciple, who is in chastity, can bear witness (shahadah) or experience divinity.

Since this is a delicate issue, it is best to be reserved, cautious, and reflective before engaging in ANY sexual activity. This should be a time of self-reflection and transmutation through mantras or pranayama, rather than engaging in alchemy, in order to develop harmony and balance after having sexually copulated with more than one partner (which short-circuits the sexual creative power of Allah)

As for whom a person should be married, that is the will of God Most High.
