Any tips for dealing with ones heartbeat while trying to relax for Astral Projection?

I'm trying to astral project. I've had times where I project unknowingly (after failing to consciously project), walk around thinking I'm in the physical until something sets me off. When this happens however, I typically just return to the physical. I'm not even over excited or anything. Just the knowledge of being out of the physical body pulls me back. I awoke in a dream about a week back and I decided to do the conjuration of Bellilin. I woke up as if I conjured myself.

I would prefer to consciously project. I can relax my body to where I can't really feel anything, get the tingles, hear the chakra vibrations (as if doing the mantras with head mostly submerged in water with earplugs) and even amplify those vibrations through mentally vocalizing the mantras. I've had energetic sensations up and down the spine. But whenever the body starts to go full vibratory my heartbeat and breathing increase and then the sensation die down.

The heart is going to beat. I can't numb it. I can't tense and release the heart muscle to get it to relax. I can't just have a still heart and keep it motionless until it falls asleep. As soon as the body seems to be going astral my heart rate increases back to normal waking rhythm and the sensations fade away. I'm not sure how I'm supposed to deal with this. I've tried concentrating on my pulse in other parts of the body, but to no avail. Now I'm doing the mantras (I,E,O,U,A,M,S) to built chakra strength. Anything else I can do?

I can reach the vibratory stage with no problems. I have that down pact. But if I can't get over this heart rate hurdle it's a meaningless effort.

Don't identify so much with physical or psychic phenomena. These impressions come and go. If we identify with a given sensation, physical or psychic, we lose our perception of things and snap ourselves out of the experience. The solution is to meditate and practice more. You must learn not to give so much attention to these things, because if there is identification, fear, tension, or any strong emotion, as subtle and imperceptible as it may be, we will wake ourselves before achieving conscious astral projections.

There is something keeping you attached or afraid in the mind to such phenomena. If you just observe and do not give the impressions so much credence, but accept them as they are, then astral projection unfolds naturally. However, if there is any identification in the mind, subtle or imperceptible as it may be, you will stop yourself from advancing.

The solution is to relax and not identify. Meditation, trials, and experience teach us how to remain indifferent before any phenomena and to only remember the intimate divine presence of the Inner Being, no matter in what situation. Relaxation is more than just the physical: it has to do with our thoughts and emotions. If our relaxation is profound, in all the levels of the mind and heart, the body will ease itself naturally, and spiritual perception will emerge, blossoming into your realized potential as part of a patient and gradual process, one that is not rushed.

Joyful in hope, suffering in tribulation, be thou constant in thy prayer.

Benedictis, qui venit in nomine Domini. Osanna in excelsis.

"Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest!"
