Hello gnostic brothers! Shalom Aleichem!

I have a question concerning something said in the lecture Four Ways of Spiritual Life.

I have always thought that the sole mission of the Being is to self-realise. But in the lecture it is said:

Not all Monads in heaven want Self-realization or liberation for their Essences. When in this physical plane an Essence, soul, consciousness, is searching for spiritual knowledge, searching for the way in order to attain Self-realization, it is because its inner Monad wants to Self-realize. The Monad exerts pressure upon its Essence. The Essence is the consciousness. The Monad is the Spirit.

I have contemplated on this for a while, and my answer to this would be the fact that not every person is ready for self-realisation - maybe due to karmic reasons, or personal preference etc. But I am still a tad bit confused. How come not all Monads want to self-realise?

Am I missing something?

Also, whilst I have a question open, is there any way I can get information on what colours symbolise? and what colours relate to? In my research on gnosis I have not come across too much on colours, so it is an area I am quite vague on. I would appreciate it greatly if I could get some help on this matter.

Thank-you for you time :)

and kudos for the marvelous work you beautiful people put into this site! Much praise. God-bless you all!

Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah,
the Root of David, has prevailed to open the book,
and to loose the seven seals thereof. - Revelation 5: 5

Thank-you, Lion of Judah! Very much appreciated!

As regards to colours, is there anywhere I can go to get a trusted basic understanding of them? For example, in the Om Mani Padme Hum the letters are segregated into colours of white, green, yellow, blue, red, and black. What are the significance of these colours?

Peace to all, God-bless
