Asa historian this is what i have been able to come up with with so little light being shed on the union of the Gnostic Catholic Church

Do let me know if this is not true...

In the early beginnings of Christianity as a faith there existed the Gnostic Catholic Church. A church whose prime concern was the practical development of the virtuous aspects of the Human Being and the divine spark that each one carries within our innermost depths. That phenomena was what was, and to this day still is called the path of Christification.

The universal spirit of life was known to them as Chrestos which means fire. Whosoever incarnated the universal spirit of life became a Christ.

The esoteric value of the word Chrestos is worshipper of fire. The immortal fire that purges, creates and renews nature incessantly. The latin word INRI placed on the Calvary cross is an abbreviation of Igneous Natura Renovator Integram, which means the fire renews nature incessantly.

The Roman clergy for a time became part of that church until for political reasons it separated and became its own institution. That institute was called, ‘The Roman Catholic Church’ which came to claim to be the only authority of god’s word and his sole church on earth. The claim by itself would have been fine however to the pain of many it was upheld according to Roman custom, by the sword and the axe. Anyone not adhering to the rule of their church were then considered, heretics, etc. The numbers are uncountable as to how many people were executed, tossed into the arenas with hungry lions, or burnt at the stake as heathens back then and over the ages. There is no toll as to how many books were destroyed or omitted from the original bible. The word bible coming from ‘Biblios’ Greek for collection of books.

This is not an opportunity to single out any group. It is only a matter of stating the truth of historical facts if the truth be known.

The Gnostics are not against any religion. They view all religions that unite the human with the divine as precious pearls strung on the golden thread of divinity.
Contrarily and decreed by the Roman Catholic church every gospel not belonging to the present four gospels of the bible (Mathew Luke John and Paul) was then burnt to cinders or destroyed by other means.

Yes, the Roman Catholic Church deviated from the Gnostic Catholic Church established by Peter, Patar, the Initiatic Stone of Christianity.

Let us remember that there are three types of churches:
There are three types of churches: first, the Triumphant Church, represented by the few Knights of the Grail who persisted to remain pure; second, the Failing Church, represented by those who abhor the Initiatic Stone; third, the Militant Church, represented by the others, who as Mary Magdalene, Paul of Tarsus, Kundry, and Amfortas, are still in rebellion against the seductive Luciferic fire. - Samael Aun Weor, Magic of the Runes
Those who did not directly receive the mysteries of the stone constituted the failing church, which broke away from the Gnostic Christic Esotericism as a result of literally interpreting scripture, lacking genuine initiation into the greater mysteries, and psychological degeneration.

Joyful in hope, suffering in tribulation, be thou constant in thy prayer.

Ok so there was understandably a connection, Samael Aun Weor states in the Per4fect Matrimony, regarding the Gnostic Catholic Church: “Paul of Tarsus belonged to that church. He was a Nazarene. The Nazarenes were another Gnostic sect. The primeval Christian Church was the true main esoteric trunk from which many other Neo-Christian sects sprung forth, such as: Roman Catholicism, Protestantism, Adventism, the Armenian Church, etc. end of excerpt.

It is said that paul of tarsus was both a roman and jew and that he estaablished the Roman Catholic Church.

However is there one bit of information historical in the gnostic archives, regarding the connection. How did they accomplish anything together? How long were they together. Why were they together? Who caused or where why when was the split.

Valentinus a gnostic, was in line to become a bishop or (pope?) in the second century but lost by a small margin of votes. He went on to establish his own gnostic order.

100 – c.160) was the best known and for a time most successful early Christian gnostic theologian. He founded his school in Rome. According to Tertullian, Valentinus was a candidate for bishop of Rome but started his own group when another was chosen.
