Is "Arcanum 17: Hope" the only writing on this site about Hope? Does Hope not matter to gnostics? This site definitely doesn't seemed to concerned about it. The article wasn't really to focused on it either, so I'm wondering do you all have so much knowledge that you don't need hope as much as I do?

Do not be in such a hurry, Hurray, when studying this teaching, because it is permeated by the fragrance of divinity, the perfume of hope that is born from sexual and moral purity, that you can only smell and contemplate through meditation.

If Samael Aun Weor sounds too harsh to you, it's because your ego has no hope, and must die. His teaching is against your pride, resentment, and ignorance. However, this teaching is for the soul (Tiphereth, Prince Calaf), as taught by our spiritual friend and Master of Music, Giacomo Puccini, in his immortal opera, Turandot:

Nessun dorma! Nessun dorma!
Tu pure, o, Principessa,
nella tua fredda stanza,
guardi le stelle
che tremano d'amore
e di speranza.
Ma il mio mistero è chiuso in me,
il nome mio nessun saprà!
No, no, sulla tua bocca lo dirò
quando la luce splenderà!
Ed il mio bacio scioglierà il silenzio
che ti fa mia!
(Il nome suo nessun saprà!...
e noi dovrem, ahime, morir!)
Dilegua, o notte!
Tramontate, stelle!
Tramontate, stelle!
All'alba vincerò!
vincerò, vincerò!

Nobody shall [psychologically] sleep!...

Nobody shall sleep [in their consciousness]!

Even you, o [Divine] Princess [Kundalini-Turandot],

in your cold [chaste] room [pure from the snow of heavenly mountains of initiation],

watch the stars [Urania],

that tremble with love [Gedulah, the Spirit] and with hope [the Intimate Christ].

But my secret [of transmutation] is hidden within me,

my name [Calaf, Kaf: "crown" and the Rune Laf, "life," or how one raises the energies of life in sex to the crown of the head through initiation; or better said, "The" Name, Hashem, יהוה Iod-Chavah, which etymologically signifies Man-Woman, Phallus-Uterus in alchemy] no one shall know...

No!...No!...

On your mouth [of Da'ath, sexual alchemical knowledge] I will tell it when the light shines [after I have completely died to desire through the work of the cross].

And my kiss will dissolve the [Voice of the] silence that makes you mine!...

[Chorus of egotistical elements] (No one will know his name [no one will know his secret, for unlike Samson, he does not sway in his vow of chastity] and we must, alas, die [due to the Divine Mother Turandot, the Goddess of Death].)

Vanish, o [spiritual] night [of ignorance and trials of the Second Mountain]!

Set, stars! Set, stars!

At dawn [upon Resurrection, qualifying through the eight years of Job], I will win! I will win! I will win!
The people of Peking, the egotistical elements of the psyche, complain, while the soul triumphs in hope so as to receive the morning star, the dawn of hope eternal and salvation in Christ.

When a group of them said, ‘Why do you advise a people whom Allah will destroy or punish with a severe punishment?’ They said, ‘As an excuse before your Lord, and [with the hope] that they may be Godwary.’ -Al-AʿRāf [7:164]

"Spe enim salvi facti sumus"

Considering the shallow depth of your responses, I think it's safe to say maybe you should give more attention to hope in these teachings? It's tragic Samael Aun Weor forgot to write about it. Goes to show important subjects can slip anybody's mind.

Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.
Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.
But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden. But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.
And he that overcomes, and keeps my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.
And I will give him [Hope] the morning star.
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. - Revelation 2: 20-29

Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, יהוה
Adonai, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.
If thou, Jah, shouldest mark iniquities, O Adonai, who shall stand?
But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.
I wait for יהוה, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.
My soul waited for Adonai more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.
Let Israel hope in יהוה: for with יהוה there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.
And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities. - Psalm 130

The expression, "Congregation of Israel," in the first instance, refers to the first born children [archetypes] of the Light, or, as they are termed in the Book of Job, the morning stars [Hope], who, along with the Children of Elohim, sang their song of praise at the creation of the world. In an extended sense, it includes the true children of the light who have attained unto the Divine Life. - Zohar

Christ is hope; hope is Christ; Christ is the Light of the Absolute; in other words hope is INRI, the sexual fire of chastity that transforms nature constantly.

Hope you understood!

Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah,
the Root of David, has prevailed to open the book,
and to loose the seven seals thereof. - Revelation 5: 5
