1) How to differentiate between positive awakening and negative awakening?

2) There many masters, life coaches and motivators speakers advertising their awakening retreat services in the internet. Theirs 5 to 7 days awakening retreats range between $3500 to $5000 USA. I would like to know the Gnosis view on this form of awakening? And can you really be awakened after paying the amount request for the retreat? If yes, is it a positive awakening or a negative awakening?

Please I need clarity regarding this form of awakening. I a new to Gnosis teaching and I am working to improve more and more my spiritual knowledge.

No one can awaken your consciousness for you. Only you can awaken it.

However, it is easy to awaken negatively, since ~97% of the consciousness is trapped in the ego, and merely needs a little push to awaken that way; for this, there are millions of people ready to take your money and show you how to awaken that way. All you need to do is fortify your ego a little more.

To awaken positively, free of ego, is very different. Of course, that is the only way to escape suffering.

As a rule, those who have recently entered Gnosis are full of impatience; they want immediate phenomenal manifestations, instantaneous Astral projections, illumination, wisdom, etc. The reality is another thing. Nothing is given to us for free. Everything has its price. Nothing is attained through curiosity, instantaneously, rapidly. Everything has its process and its development. Kundalini develops, evolves and progresses very slowly within the aura of the Maha-Chohan. Kundalini has the power of awakening the consciousness. Nevertheless, the process of awakening is slow, gradual, natural, without spectacular, sensational, emotional, and barbaric events. When the consciousness becomes completely awakened, it is not something sensational, or spectacular. It is simply a reality, as natural as a tree that grows slowly, unfolds and develops without sudden leaps or sensational events. Nature is Nature. The Gnostic student in the beginning says, “I am dreaming.” Later he exclaims, “I am in the Astral Body, outside the physical body.” Later still, he obtains Samadhi, ecstasy, and enters the Fields of Paradise. In the beginning, the manifestations are sporadic, discontinuous, followed by long periods of unconsciousness. Much later, the igneous wings give us continuous uninterrupted awakened consciousness.
