Pope Francis said, 'God forgives those who obey their conscience'. Is that a true statement? Would it be reasonable to say that Conscience is the superior logic Samael talks about in "the Mental Body" article?

Peace is Light emanated from God, the ancient of days; and love, compassion, faith and hope are lights emanated from His light.
These precious lights are virtues, gems of our consciousness or soul which are trapped, bottled up within Satan, our Ego!

Saint Francis of Assisi said:

Lord, make me [better said: "make my consciousness"] an instrument of your peace.

Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, compassion;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
where there is sadness, joy;

O Divine Master, grant that [my] "I" may not so much seek to be consoled as to [consciously] console;
to be understood as to [consciously] understand;
to be loved as to [consciously] love.

For it is in [consciously] giving that we [consciously] receive [which is Kabbalah in Hebrew];
it is in [consciously] forgiving [our offenders] that we are [consciously] forgave;
and [indeed] it is in [psychologically] dying [in our ego] that we are [our soul or our consciousness is] born to eternal life.

Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah,
the Root of David, has prevailed to open the book,
and to loose the seven seals thereof. - Revelation 5: 5

Are you saying most peoples' Conscience leads to them forgiving others, so they will be forgiven? If so I think that makes a lot of sense, thanks!
