Hello all!
There was a time in my life when all I wanted to be was a philosopher, whereby I could live my whole life in contemplation of the truth - it was always something I had burning passionately inside of me. I had a drive to know the truth no matter how mad or obscure it might sound, leading me onto who I considered one of my favourite philosophers Martin Heidegger, who has some very interesting views on how to approach life practically, as opposed to materially. I read that there was a film maker who was a Heideggerian named Terrence Malick, so I rushed to watch his films as immediately as I could. With honesty, I can say that had I not watched his films, I would not know where I would stand right now on my spiritual journey. After having watched The Thin Red Line, I awoken my senses spiritually, I felt like a door had sprung open for me, and it changed my life - to the point where I found Gnosis on the journey, the greatest gift I've received in this life (and what a blessing it has been). The films of Terrence Malick are highly spiritual, and his central theme is entirely on grace and love. His style is very intuitive and life is intensely beautiful in his films. He portrays human life amongst all the chaos as internally beautiful, with voice-overs that long throughout his entire films for that connection with the absolute again.
After having searched this site for particular film recommendations - http://gnosticteachings.org/forum/esoteric-movies.html#reply-4862 this one for example - I did not manage to find anything on Terrence Malick. My question is this: have any of you seen any of his films, from Badlands, Days of Heaven, The Thin Red Line, The New World, The Tree of Life, and To The Wonder, and if he is a gnostic in anyway? If his films are to you relevant. It is a mere curiosity, but would mean a lot to hear what you guys have to say on him, if you have anything to say at all?

I've seen part of Thin Red Line, but I do not know much of it. I think I might look at it again!
