Hello,

I have a few questions regarding AP and REM stages of sleep.

1. Can we only travel in astral (dream) just on our REM (rapid eye movement) stages of sleep?

2.Why is it easier to counciously leave body taking a nap than going to bed at night? Is it because when you are taking a nap you are activating your REM stage instantly?

3.Why when we are dreaming our eyes are moving?

Thank you for your answers.

It is possible to escape the body without REM. In fact, this may be the most common way, when someone meditates while falling asleep, dreams never occur, the individual simply leaves his body.

During naps we are less mechanical about how and when we get up. I think this is one reason why.

Eyes are the window to the soul, so there is a special connection there.
