The Republic by Plato, The Confessions of Saint Augustine, The Divine Comedy of Dante, Thus Spoke Zarathustra by Frederic Nietzsche, Les Miserables by Victor Hugo, The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde, Frankenstein by Mary Shelley. Does this help?

I have read most of these. Can you recommend any more?
