In Occult Medicine and Practical Magic, and several of his other books, Samael Aun Weor references "aloe" as a perfume: one of the 5 Perfumes, the perfume for the zodiacal sign of Sagittarius etc. My question is if this is always a reference to the dried leaves of the aloe vera plant, which is not particularly aromatic even though the plant has beautiful elemental applications, or if it is aloeswood which is a very aromatic and ancient perfume.
