My wife and I have been practicing the Maithuna and I have withheld the seminal fluid, refraining from orgasm, for one year successfully. Today, however, there was an accidental release, not a full spasmic orgasm, but an unintentional partial release of fluid. Since then I have been going through a range of emotions, from frustration to fear to shame, and I am hoping a teacher can help me sort out what I am feeling and give some guidance as to what is next - to begin the practice from the start once again? Is all lost? A year's progress for naught?

The development of the consciousness regresses only in accordance with the magnitude of its faults. Therefore, if you invested all your will and energy into the orgasm, then you would have lost everything. But to have an accident, an unintentional loss of seminal fluid, certainly does not indicate that one is damned. While some work is lost through any emission of semen, it is still an accident, it does not bear as much force as an intentional ejaculation.

Even though accidents are not justifiable, at the same time they are not of terrible magnitude, because in such cases, one does not put all of one's force into that filthy act.
Introduce the virile member into the feminine vagina, then withdraw without spilling the semen (without reaching the orgasm).

This is what is called sexual magic, and it is mandatory for the Gnostic medic to practice sexual magic daily in order to transmute his semen into divine energy. Thus, the fire of the Holy Spirit or Kundalini awakens with this prescription, because this fire rips open the membranous pouch in which it is enclosed. Then, it ascends upwards through a canal which is situated within the spinal medulla. This canal is called Shushumna in the east. Such a canal remains closed in ordinary people. However, the seminal vapors open it and expose it, so that the Kundalini can enter through its inferior orifice, in order to ascend upwards through a thread which is situated in the center of this canal.

The opening of the orifice of this canal of Shushumna is performed under the direction of an angelic atom, which is situated in the semen. This fine thread through which the Kundalini ascends is very delicate. If the Gnostic medic does not withdraw himself before the orgasm, if he indeed arrives at the spilling of the semen, then this thread is ripped. It becomes a burned fuse or burned wire and the Kundalini descends one or more canyons (vertebrae) according to the magnitude of the fault. -Samael Aun Weor, Esoteric Medicine and Practical Magic
While the fuse is burnt, this can be repaired again through great works of chastity, fidelity, supreme patience, and love with one's spouse in alchemy. Therefore, do not despair, but have faith in your Being and continue working with diligence, perseverance, strength, and courage.

Joyful in hope, suffering in tribulation, be thou constant in thy prayer.

Benedictis, qui venit in nomine Domini. Osanna in excelsis.

"Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest!"
