The transition period between wakefulness and sleep is very interesting, since the consciousness and the ego begin to submerge within the parallel fifth dimension, the astral and mental planes. This activates our psychic perceptions if we are attentive and watchful, to the point that many sounds within our clairaudient ear begins to manifest, as well as possible dream images within our clairvoyance.
What typically happens is that while detaching from the physical body, the soul and ego enter the fifth dimension with the Kama Rupa (lunar astral or desire body) and Kama Manasa (lunar mental or desire mind body). The vital body stays above the physical body in order to channel the heavenly energies of Christ within the physical body, so as to regenerate the latter.
Whenever you have a psychic experience, never identify with it. Simply observe it, and the more detached and neutral you remain, the more you will prolong the event and gain control. If you are afraid, or if you crave such experiences, the mind and emotions become disturbed, easily taking one out of the experience through returning to the physical body. Therefore, no matter what happens, simply become a spectator within your consciousness. If you are disciplined with your mind, you will be better able to investigate these phenomena, and not to be ruled or afraid of them.
There is no other obstacle to the awakening of our consciousness within the internal worlds than our own mind. No exterior force can prevent us from awakening the free, unconditioned consciousness. No entity, no elemental, no tenebrous black magician, has power over us except the state of our own mind. Therefore, if we are disciplined with ourselves, we will awaken. If we are undisciplined with our mind, we will remain asleep. There is not external factor that impedes us from our own awakening within the physical and internal dimensions.
Joyful in hope, suffering in tribulation, be thou constant in thy prayer.
Benedictis, qui venit in nomine Domini. Osanna in excelsis.
"Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest!"
