How is the minor initiation related with the Guardian of the Threshold set in motion?

Talk to your Innermost with simple words, as when little children address their parents.
And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. - Matthew 18: 2-4

Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah,
the Root of David, has prevailed to open the book,
and to loose the seven seals thereof. - Revelation 5: 5

In Hamlet, when Claudius, the ego, tries to repent for the murder of his brother, the King (the Innermost), he realizes that his empty prayer do not get to heaven.
My words fly up, my thoughts remain below.
Words without thoughts never to heaven go. (Act III.iii lines 2380-81)
However, when there is right intention, innocence, and a genuine longing to know God, then, as Lion of Judah mentioned, God responds. Therefore, establish a serene and silent mind so God can speak to you clearly.
God searches the Nothingness in order to fill it. -Samael Aun Weor, The Aquarian Message

Joyful in hope, suffering in tribulation, be thou constant in thy prayer.

Benedictis, qui venit in nomine Domini. Osanna in excelsis.

"Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest!"

The repetitive, mechanical prayer is a constant issue, sometimes it is difficult to pray properly due to this problem... do you have any advice on how to approach prayer in the proper way?

One directly perceive and communicate with their Innermost through Prayer. To pray is to talk with your Innermost God.

And when thou prayest , thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But thou [essence], when thou prayest, enter into thy closet [into thy body and meditate], and when thou hast shut thy door [to the impressions of the physical world], pray to thy Father [your Innermost] which is in secret; and thy Father [your Innermost] which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly [through visions and revelations].

But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father [your Innermost] knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. After this manner therefore pray ye [during an hour of meditation]:

Our Father which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil:
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. - Matthew 6: 5-15

and to loose the seven seals thereof. - Revelation 5: 5

From a practical level how could one directly perceive and communicate with their Innermost? From the vigil state there is a disconnected feeling to anything other than the sensations of the body, mind and emotions.

Question: Master, it terrifies me to think that as an essence I would have to pass through suffering for 108 lives multiplied by 3,000 or rather 324,000 humanoid existences, so that finally in the grand scheme of things—as an essence—I will have to live within the Absolute as a failed Monad—in other words, without self-realization. Under these circumstances, it is worth it to make all possible efforts and sacrifices in order to achieve self-realization, no matter how much suffering this might imply, since these will be absolutely nothing in comparison to those which nature will impose on me if I choose the path of failure. Do you think so?

Samael Aun Weor: Respectable sir, great friend, allow me to emphatically tell you that every Divine Spark, every Monad, can choose the path.

It is indubitable that trillions of absolutely innocent Monads—beyond good and evil—exist in the infinite space. Many of them attempted to attain mastery but regrettably, they failed. Millions of others never wanted mastery. Regardless, now they are submerged within the bosom of the Universal Spirit of Life enjoying authentic divine happiness, because they are flashes of divinity. Unfortunately, they do not possess mastery.

It is clear that the gentleman who asked the question has enormous longings. This is because your interior Monad is motivating you; it is working on you incessantly. Your duty is therefore to proceed with firmness on the path of the razor’s edge until achieving the inner self-realization of the Being. - Samael Aun Weor

So the question is how to find out the will of our Innermost? Also how about all of those that have Monads which are not interested in self-realization? Won't their Essences devolve if they don't do something about it, you could say out of their own will?

When Beelzebub invoked the guardian of the threshold and when anybody does it, one has to join his Innermost in order to triumph, because without God one is nothing, one is worthless!

1. Have thou seen, oh Buddha, those ineffable beings who, in the world of willpower, bow themselves reverently before the majesty of the Father.

2. Thy will be done, oh God of mine, on Earth, as it is in heaven.

3. Father of mine, if thou be willing, remove this chalice from me: nevertheless, not my will, but thine be done.

4. Our will must kneel before the Innermost.

5. We must debase our will before the majesty of the Father.

6. If we want to christify the body of willpower, then we must do the will of God on Earth, as it is in heaven...

7. The Father and the Son are one. Nevertheless, the rebel son is weak before the majesty of the Father.

8. Christ's will is powerful, because it only knows how to do the will of the Innermost on Earth as in heaven.

9. When our will wants to act independently, without doing the will of the Father, it is a weak will.

10. We must plait the crown of thorns of the Master around our temples.

11. The crown of thorns symbolizes Christ's will.

12. Christ's will is omnipotent, because it only knows how to do the will of the Innermost on Earth as in heaven.

13. When human will is against the will of the Father, it commits a crime, defined as high treason against the Innermost. - Christ's Will by Samael Aun Weor

Nonetheless, the horns were still over his forehead, because these horns belong to the Guardian of the Threshold, and he was closely fused with the Guardian of the Threshold. This internal beast was a terrible obstacle for his evolution. It was necessary to cast this beast out from him in order to liberate him from this internal monster that held him in bondage for innumerable ages.

That internal monster had taken possession of his will, of his thought, of his consciousness, of everything. Therefore, the necessity was peremptory to expel him out from his own Being, in order to perform a fast internal progress.

This then was the moment when I took him into the Astral plane in order to submit him to the first initiatic ordeal, through which anyone who wants to reach initiation has to irremediably pass. This is the ordeal of the Guardian of the Threshold.

In this ordeal, when we invoke this monster, he comes out from within ourselves and he threateningly thrusts himself against us.

Beelzebub had to invoke his own Guardian many times. Finally, a horrifying breeze blew everywhere and then, in a dreadful and threatening way, the spectre of the Threshold appeared. That creature was a giant, about three meters in stature, and his body had two meters of thickness. He had the appearance of a monstrous gorilla with a flat, round face, two horns, and protruding eyes.

So in this case howcome Beelzebub invoked the guardian of the threshold and didn't just wait for his Innermost to make it happen?

Okay so the ordeal with the guardian of the threshold is not part of the minor initiations, rather it serves as a trial to initiate that process if the aspirant is successful.

So let me get this straight; There is no need for us to invoke the guardian of the threshold? I ask this because Samael Aun Weor and an instructor mentioned invoking the guardian of the threshold, this gave me the impression that maybe we are the ones who initiate the ordeal, so I asked the question to find out.

The guardian of the threshold relate to the fallen part of your being, the minor initiations begin when you defeat the guardian, all of this is set in motion by your Innermost.

the Root of David, has prevailed to open the book,
and to loose the seven seals thereof. - Revelation 5: 5
