Adding sulfur to your bath? I've seen it mentioned somewhere but can't recall where.

Is that safe and how much would you use?

Most Epsom salt compounds used in hot baths contain magnesium and sulfur, so you can purchase Epsom salts to bath in. If you want to use sulfur powder, which is not dangerous to the skin, then simply use a small pinch. It is a powerful substance, so you don't need a lot of it. When you're done bathing you can take a quick shower to wash off your skin. Do not use sulfur powder if you have a wound that is healing.

Please give more information about the Sulpher baths that an instructor mentions in one of his lectures. Is he referring to going to a hot springs containing sulpher, or to bathing at home and putting sulpher powder in the water? If the latter is what he was talking about, then please advise as to how much powder to use and if there is any cautions that need to be taken, such as related to frequency, rinsing off in the shower afterwards, etc. Thank you so much for your help.
