Dreams... I have always had dreams -colourful, beautiful, breathtaking; some have been lucid, some have been weird, many seemed not too meaningful. My question is about a series of dreams that keep coming - is the person with whom we see ourselves in dreams in a sexual embrace/ecstasy necessarily the one with whom we are going to experience sexual magic in reality or it is rather symbolic? I want to mention that at the time I had these dreams I had no idea of "sexual magic" and I never had similar dreams with anyone else. However, in reality it was a rather painful and not working relationship/connection, and I wondered why I always saw him in a good light when things were so wrong between us. And mostly due to those dreams I discovered my own weaknesses and mistakes, comprehended and this road took me to Gnostic teachings. My insightful friends say that it is probably my ego's desire to see this person in that role. I also want to question these dreams but there is a quiet voice deep in me that keeps reminding me of him, like someone important on my path to God. All I know is that I need to keep practicing gnostic teachings and meditate but how should I use the message of these dreams?

Do you study mythology? In mythological stories, the characters are archetypes that represent parts of ourselves. Our dreams are exactly the same. When we dream of a person, especially repeatedly, that person is symbolizing something. Proper interpretation requires patience and meditation. Sometimes the meaning is revealed in the way a flower opens: slowly, gradually, mysteriously.

Thank you, I will carefully read and practice the courses. After I read your answer I had another dream - many various scenes, not important to mention here, but the interesting part was that I knew that I was in a dream, and I was questioning some situations, actually had some power to control the dream, and when I woke up it was a strange but light feeling of realisation that I was sleeping but at the same time I wasn't.
