I tried it and had experiences even when I had blasphemy doubts ! I tried it more than one time and it worked like a miracle, all you need is little faith and little concentration.

Relax and have little disturbance (like any prayer as meditation is the prayer originally so you connect deeply with god) and have your rosary in your hand (optional of course) and repeat a lot of times "Forgive me God, Forgive me God ..... etc" keep repeating it like thousands of times if it is available.

what are the benefits so?

Quran said it and they are the same literally

(And said, 'Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Indeed, He is ever a Perpetual Forgiver.

He will send [rain from] the sky upon you in [continuing] showers

And give you increase in wealth and children and provide for you gardens and provide for you rivers.) Nuh 10-12.

(And O my people, ask forgiveness of your Lord and then repent to Him. He will send [rain from] the sky upon you in showers and increase you in strength [added] to your strength. And do not turn away, [being] criminals.") Hud 52.

(But Allah would not punish them while you, [O Muhammad], are among them, and Allah would not punish them while they seek forgiveness.) Al-'Anfāl 33.

It really made me more strength physically and had twice 50 pounds from the bank and the rain came.

Ok I am a liar, try it yourself and prove it to me :)

Also Allah in the bible said

(If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.) John 1:9.

(No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.) Luke 13:3

And said, 'Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Indeed, He is ever a Perpetual Forgiver.

He will send [rain (of transmuted sexual energy) from] the sky (Shamayim, the fiery heavens of da'ath) upon you in [continuing] showers (through sexual alchemy)

And give you increase in wealth (dharma) and children (spiritual virtues) and provide for you gardens (of Paradise, Nirvana, the superior worlds) and provide for you with streams (the four rivers of Eden, the four ethers of the Vital Body). Nuh 10-12.

And O my people, ask forgiveness of your Lord and then repent to Him (through psychoanalytical meditation and contemplation, mushahadah). He will send [rain (of transmuted sexual energy) from] the sky (of da'ath) upon you in showers and increase you in (sexual) strength [added] to your strength (Geburah). And do not turn away (from transmutation), [being] criminals (Hasnamussen).") Hud 52.

But Allah would not punish them while you, [O Muhammad] (Tiphereth), are among them, and Allah would not punish them while they seek forgiveness (through transmutation, contemplation, and mystical death). -Al-'Anfāl 33

Joyful in hope, suffering in tribulation, be thou constant in thy prayer.

Benedictis, qui venit in nomine Domini. Osanna in excelsis.

"Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest!"

For the mystical death

(But as for he who feared the position of his Lord and prevented the soul from [unlawful] inclination, Then indeed, Paradise will be [his] refuge.) An-Nāzi`āt 40-41.

(And I swear by the reproaching soul [to the certainty of resurrection].) Al-Qiyamah 2.

(Man will be informed that Day of what he sent ahead and kept back [karma of his actions]. Rather, man, against himself, will be a witness. Even if he presents his excuses. [his justifications of sins]). Al-Qiamah 13-15.

(And I do not acquit myself. Indeed, the soul is a persistent enjoiner of evil, except those upon which my Lord has mercy. Indeed, my Lord is Forgiving and Merciful.") Yusuf 53.

(We had already taken the covenant of the Children of Israel and had sent to them messengers. Whenever there came to them a messenger with what their souls did not desire, a party [of messengers] they denied, and another party they killed.) Al-Ma'idah 70.

(They are not but [mere] names you have named them - you and your forefathers - for which Allah has sent down no authority. They follow not except assumption and what [their] souls desire, and there has already come to them from their Lord guidance.) Al-Najm 23.

And for science and meditation or contemplation in the universe:

(Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day are signs for those of understanding. Who remember Allah while standing or sitting or [lying] on their sides and give thought to the creation of the heavens and the earth, [saying], "Our Lord, You did not create this aimlessly; exalted are You [above such a thing]; then protect us from the punishment of the Fire.) Al-Imran 190-191.

(Do they not contemplate within themselves? Allah has not created the heavens and the earth and what is between them except in truth and for a specified term. And indeed, many of the people, in [the matter of] the meeting with their Lord, are disbelievers. Have they not traveled through the earth and observed how was the end of those before them? They were greater than them in power, and they plowed the earth and built it up more than they have built it up[referring to the anceint civilizations with all its powers], and their messengers came to them with clear evidences. And Allah would not ever have wronged them, but they were wronging themselves.) Ar-Rum 8-9.

For sexual transmutation and spilling the semen (fornication):

(O you who have believed, do not approach prayer while you are intoxicated until you know what you are saying or in a state of janabah, except those passing through [a place of prayer], until you have washed [your whole body]. And if you are ill or on a journey or one of you comes from the place of relieving himself or you have contacted women and find no water, then seek clean earth and wipe over your faces and your hands [with it]. Indeed, Allah is ever Pardoning and Forgiving.) An-Nisa' 43.

Purification of the water element and if not available then the earth element (dust).

The prayers and loving and adoring and praising God is another door and it is very important like when you ask Master Samael in meditation to help you in the path, we must ask God to help us and forgive us as long as we don't intend to consist in sins that's how we prove that we are honest.

"And hasten to forgiveness from your Lord and a garden as wide as the heavens and earth, prepared for the righteous. Who spend [in the cause of Allah ] during ease and hardship and who restrain anger and who pardon the people - and Allah loves the doers of good [sacrifice to other]; And those who, when they commit an immorality or wrong themselves [by transgression], remember Allah and seek forgiveness for their sins - and who can forgive sins except Allah ? - and [who] do not persist in what they have done while they know." Al-Imran 133-135.
