Q. What happens in blood transfusions, in organ transplants?

A. Well obviously the blood is a vehicle of the soul, when you have blood transfusion you are taking the elements of the others into your blood; that is unquestionable. In a case of life or death, then take the blood. But obviously in the blood you take the inheritance of the others because the blood is the vehicle of the spirit.

Is this to say that a blood transfusion, due to imminent blood loss, results in permanent transfusion of inherited psychological traits?

This does not make sense to me. I could understand if a person was to receive a bone marrow transfusion. As this is a permanent alteration to the body chemistry. People who get bone marrow transplants actually switch to the blood type of the donor. By that, I mean, they will physically produce the same blood as the donor so that if given a blood test you would not be able to identify one from the other.

But in the case of a blood transfusion due to a lack of blood caused by injury, that donor's blood cells will eventually die off and be broken down. And afterwards the recipient's own blood will continue to be produced. In about 4 months the donor's blood will no longer be in the blood stream.

Furthermore, if person A receives blood from person B, is it being claimed that they both share karmic consequences or just the person who receives the blood? Because in this scenario B has not received any foreign blood. Only person A has. So does only person A receive, I guess, more ego to deal with. If both share the consequences, how does that work out seeing as person B has not received any foreign blood?

And how does this relate to the consumption of meat. If you eat a steak or fish or fowl there is some trace of blood matter. Because if we are talking about non-physical elements then aren't we consuming more "behemoth elements" when we eat meat? Could mosquitos spread karma?

The blood contains our physical and psychological "signature" (like DNA), so when blood is mixed that signature is also bonded. That is, a blood bond is formed, which is irreversible and binds the souls together.

Blood donations are serious act that one should be conscious of, and aware of the bonds that are made. For example, you have blood bonds with your family. Thus, when your blood is mixed with others, a similar bond is made.

Should you donate blood? Only you can answer that question. We do not tell anyone what to do. We only explain the science so that you can make informed choices.

"Love is as pure as the morning star. Love is universal. Love is impersonal, ineffable, and impartial. You must be charitable. We sin against Christian charity when we criticize the religion of others. Cultivate respect and veneration. Respect your neighbor's beliefs. Respect the religion of your neighbor. Do not force anyone to think your way. Do not criticize. Remember that each head is a world. Do not sin anymore against the charity of Christ. Humanity is divided and subdivided into groups. Each group requires a special system of teaching. Each group needs its school, its religion, its sect. These are the commandments of the Blessed One. We violate the law of the tranquil heart when we criticize others. If your are willing to give the last drop of blood for the love of this suffering humanity, then you are one of us. Whosoever wants to reach the altar of initiation must transform the self into the immolated Lamb upon the altar of supreme sacrifice. It is necessary to love those who hate us, to kiss the adorable hand of the one who whips us, to clean the sandals of the one who humiliates us..."

For myself, I have not donated blood. But if the moment comes that I can save the life of someone who needs it, I will do it. The difficult part is to know who needs to be saved, and who needs to die. One needs to know when to act, and when to refrain. For this, we need to awaken consciousness.

There is a story of a student travelling with a Master. When they stopped to rest, they saw a cat hunting a bird. The student chased the cat away. The Master said, "Why did you do that?" The student answered, "Out of compassion for the bird." The Master said, "That cat was trying to feed its children. By interfering you have endangered their lives."

Similarly, sometimes when we think we are doing good, we are not. Only by awakening can we know what is good to do, and when.

And Elohim said, Let us make Adam in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.
So Elohim created Adam in his own image, in the image of Elohim created he him; male and female created he them.
And Elohim blessed them, and Elohim said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.

And Elohim said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. And to every Behemoth of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creeps upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.

And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. - Genesis 1: 26-31

These are the behemoth which ye shall eat: the ox, the sheep, and the goat, the hart, and the roebuck, and the fallow deer, and the wild goat, and the pygarg, and the wild ox, and the chamois. And every behemah that parted the hoof, and cleaves the cleft into two claws, and cheweth the cud among the beasts, that ye shall eat.

Nevertheless these ye shall not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the cloven hoof; as the camel, and the hare, and the coney: for they chew the cud, but divide not the hoof; therefore they are unclean unto you.

And the swine, because it divided the hoof,..... - Deuteronomy 14: 4-8

Could mosquitos spread karma?
And יהוה said unto Moses, Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh; lo, he cometh forth to the water; and say unto him, Thus saith יהוה, Let my people go, that they may serve me.
Else, if thou wilt not let my people go, behold, I will send swarms of flies [all kind of mosquitos] upon thee, and upon thy servants, and upon thy people, and into thy houses: and the houses of the Egyptians shall be full of swarms of flies, and also the ground whereon they are.
And I will sever in that day the land of Goshen, in which my people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there; to the end thou mayest know that I am יהוה in the midst of the earth.
And I will put a division between my people and thy people: to morrow shall this sign be.
And יהוה did so; and there came a grievous swarm of flies into the house of Pharaoh, and into his servants' houses, and into all the land of Egypt: the land was corrupted by reason of the swarm of flies. - Exodus 8: 21-24

Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah,
the Root of David, has prevailed to open the book,
and to loose the seven seals thereof. - Revelation 5: 5

Should we give blood to the red cross and hospitals?

Why or why not?

Is this an ethical sacrifice?

What is the Karma or Dharma of this?

We are not punished FOR our actions, but by the consequences they originate.

Question: Master, here is another question: regarding the frequent relations with blood and the person being examined, what effect can this cause in a person who works as blood analyst, especially….

Samael Aun Weor: You meant the one who constantly analyzes blood—in other words, who is named a phlebotomist?

Question: Yes.

Samael Aun Weor: Well, the analyst is at risk of getting a little bit contaminated with the psychic fluids of the blood, which in one way or another psychologically connect him/her with the donors or providers of the blood.

Friedrich Nietzsche said, “Of all writings I love only that which is written with blood. Write with blood: and you will discover that blood is spirit.”

Faust, the Doctor John Faust, enchanter and magician, said, “Blood is a very special fluid.”

Thus, when one receives blood from another person, one is psychically connected to that person; even the karma of that person reflects in oneself.

Question: You mean in the person who received the blood or in the one who donated the blood?

Samael Aun Weor: In both of them, because a magnetic thread is established between the donor and the recipient. Therefore, it is lamentable to be [psychologically] connected to another person and to remain involved—until certain point—with the karma of another, with the karmic reflection of another person. Thus, it is better to avoid blood transfusions.

Regarding blood examiners, well, they always receive the vibrations of those sanguineous currents, thus in some way they are connected with persons with whom they should have never been connected.

Question: Master, what can a blood analyst do in order to cleanse him/herself a little?

Samael Aun Weor: By separating him/herself from that type of job! That should be the logical step, since there are other type of jobs, not only that one.

The first letter of אדם Adam is the Hebrew letter א aleph, which represents the Spirit. Aleph א is the number one [the sephirah Kether] in the Hebrew alphabet.

The second and third letters of Adam are דם daleth and mem. Together, daleth and mem spells דם dam, which means “blood.” The blood relates to Nephesh, the animal soul in Malkuth, the physical body.

Thus, within the single word Adam we find our spirituality (א) and animality (דם): the Spirit and the animal soul in the body, Malkuth, which is subject to karma. Thus, when two persons mix their blood, they mix their karma. This is why the first plague in Egypt [Mizrahim: Malkuth, our physicality] was the plague of blood.

We don't get punished for donating blood like we do from the orgasm though right? Giving blood certainly doesn't release dopamine, which seems to be the common thread in actions creating karma.

I've had so many less orgasms since I started donating blood, is this normal? Is there a reason for this?

Many religious groups object to the practice of receiving blood transfusions, sometimes in life-and-death situations.
Through this site, I've been learning about the alter-dimensional aspects of blood, its function and importance in one's spiritual state. I'm beginning to understand the reason for their objections.
What is the position of the Gnostic community on this subject?
