Firstly, Thank you so much for taking time to offer your insight.

My question is regarding a personal process I am currently challenged with. I have been struggling to understand how it is possible for my mind to project experiences which seem real but are in fact illusion. (for example: thinking someone is talking about me when they are really just having a conversation about something not related to me personally.) This is one aspect.
However, the trouble occurs lately in attempting to be aware of the possible underlying meanings of things.
For example, In the Bible, there are many symolic teachings. Also in begining to comprehend my own dreams there is a great deal of interpretation necessary (sometimes things are also apparent and not symbolic). But often dreams seem to speak in symbolic language.
During a meditation recently I became aware of the mechanism within myself in which the mind is always searching for meanings. Always looking to jump to a conclusion about both obvious and potentially hidden meanings.

How do we discover hidden meanings without being confused by interpretations wich "seem" real?

Thank you.

Meditation is the way. Through meditation we gradually learn how to recognize the difference between projection and reception. The mind projects illusions. The consciousness receives inspiration. The mind creates fantasies, meanings, interpretations, etc. The consciousness receives inspiration, insight, visions of reality. Superficially, these seem the same to us, because we are so asleep. Yet with experience one begins to learn how to tell the difference between them. That is known through intuition, a power of the heart.
