Inverential Peace, brothers.
My question goes as follows:
I was wondering if a repenting fornicator could start working on the death of the ego right away...?
You see, I was thinking that a fornicator, having a degenerated mind, heart, and sex, would have to wait as he undergoes sexual regeneration through either sublimation or transmutation. It makes sense, since, not only would it be even harder to comprehend the I's, but I think that the Divine Mother would not have enough sexual energy to fortify the lance of Eros with which She eliminates the I's. Also, I'm not sure if such a person would even have the necessary amount of merit to deserve spiritual development, as he would have to work very hard in Third Factor for it, especially if he continued his fornications even after receiving the Arcanum and and pledging chastity.
So, back to my question: how much transmutation or sublimation must be done, and how much merit must be acquired before a fornicator can begin to work seriously with the death of his defects? Can he begin right after deciding on chastity, or must he wait a certain amount of time (as he regenerates) to begin dying?
