In the book "In Search of the Miraculous by Ouspensky, Gurdjieff speaks about the term kundalini in a negative light. "Kundalini is not anything desirable or useful for mans development", "it is very curious how these occultists have got hold of the word from somewhere but have completely altered its meaning and from a very dangerous and terrible thing made something to be hoped for and to be awaited as some blessing". Since a good deal of the gnostic teachings seem to be based on Gurdjieffs work, I find it very interesting to have such conflicting views. I was wondering as to what the instructors may have to say about this. I am lacking in understanding. Thank you.
