Firstly, thank you for offering us this chance to ask questions in this forum. It is very kind of you and we hope that we do not misuse it.

Context: We are studying the Kabbalah using Dion Fortunes The Mystical Qabbalah (as recommended by Samael Aun Weor) and Tarot & Kabbalah by Samael Aun Weor (2010 ed). At this stage we aim towards building up a map overview of the Kabbalah with its different groupings since ''a Sephirah is best interpreted by its affiliations''.

Case: We have trouble understanding how to map The Four Worlds on the Kabbalah. It seems like the graphic in Samaels book is in conflict with Fortunes words regarding their mapping on the Kabbalah. We are also unclear in regards to if these worlds work in every Sephiroth or are just isolated to their related grouping.

Question 1: [a.] Are each of The Four Worlds to be viewed like different dimensions, present in every Sephiroth upon the Tree at all times (like different levels of reality, manifested in every form of manifestation i.e. Sepihroth) or [b.] are they to be viewed as different dimensions corresponding to different levels of manifestation (like their is only the world of Atziluth in the Supernal Triangle)? [c.] Or is it possibly so that the Worlds manifest from different groups of Sephiroth and are thus present in every Sephiorth subordinate to the manifesting grouping of Sephiroth?

Question 2: Which of the Sephiroth corresponds to the different Worlds? As stated before, the Illustration regarding this contained in Samaels book seems to be in conflict with the instructions regarding the Four Worlds contained in Fortunes book (see below). So, I guess the question can also be posed as: Which author (/editor: if Samael did not do the illustration) is correct?

Related/Quoted Materials:

[---] The four levels into which Qabalists divide manifestation. [...] The highest of these is Atziluth, the Archetypal World, consisting of Kether.
The second, Briah, called the Creative World, consists of Chokmah and Binah, the Supernal Abba and Ama, Father and Mother.
The third level is that of Yetzirah, the Formative World, consisting of the six central Sephiroth, viz. Chesed, Geburah, Tiphareth, Netzach, Hod, and Yesod.
The fourth World is Assiah, the Material World, represented by Malkuth.

Thank you very much. Hope I have made myself understandable and that this will help others than just myself.

There are multiple layers to the Kabbalah; that is what makes it so beautiful. Regarding the four worlds, Atziluth, Briah, Yetzirah, and Assiah, can be mapped out in relation with the three triangles on the Tree of Life, with Assiah representing Malkuth. Or, we can look at each world of the Kabbalah as possessing ten Sephiroth. The diagram of Otz Chaiim (the Tree of Lives) is merely a synthesized version of the four worlds, because we can state that each Sephiroth has four constituents: Atziluth, Briah, Yetzirah, and Assiah, that we see represented in the common diagram of the Kabbalistic Tree. We can say that the Tree of Life has really forty Sephiroth, which we break down into ten for the sake of clarity in our study and meditation, since the relationships of this diagram in relation with the four worlds is profound and baffling to the intellect.

Kether-Father, Chokmah-Son, and Binah-Holy Spirit are three distinct persons [sephiroth] yet, only one true Elohim. This is how [kabbalistic] Theology teaches this. These three persons [sephiroth], even when they are three, in depth they are only one individual [emanation] who is the Father.

The Son and the Holy Spirit are within the Father, in the same way as the body, the Soul and the Spirit form the true Human Being. Thus, within the Ancient of days, there is also the Son and the Holy Spirit, and they form a unique, integral, unitotal one [Adam Kadmon]. - Samael Aun Weor

The second, Briah, called the Creative World, consists of Chokmah and Binah, the Supernal Abba and Aima, Father and Mother. - Dion Fortune

Some Kabbalistic authors [I,e, Dion Fortune] suppose that Daath, the Sephirah that gives knowledge or sapience, comes from the fusion of the masculine Cosmic Christ, Chokmah, with Binah and assume that Binah is exclusively feminine. Such an affirmation is purely false, because the Holy Spirit is indeed androgynous, thus when he unfolds himself into the Divine Mother, the perfect couple is formed....

She [Binah] and He [Binah] love each other and as a result of their love [in Daath], she [Binah] conceives the Christ or Second Logos [Chokmah] who descends into [Briah] her virginal and immaculate womb by the action and grace of the Holy Spirit, meaning by the action and grace of her spouse, the Third Logos.- Samael Aun Weor

The third level is that of Yetzirah, the Formative World, consisting of the six central Sephiroth, viz. Chesed, Geburah, Tiphereth, Netzach, Hod, and Yesod. The fourth World is Assiah, the Material World, represented by Malkuth. - Dion Fortune

Dion Fortune in her Mystical Qabbalah stated that Chesed, Geburah, Tiphereth, Netzach, Hod, and Yesod - which are the six sephiroth that form the body of Adam Ha-Rishon - relate to Yetzirah, based on the following biblical quotation:

http://www.northernway.org/presentations/godwife/creationofadam.jpg
And Iod-Havah Elohim [Binah - Adam Kadmon] formed [Hebrew יצרה Yetzirah] Adam [Ha-Rishon] from the dust of Adamah [Malkuth – Assiah, the Divine Mother Earth]. – Genesis 2: 7

Dion Fortune never addressed the fact that the six sephiroth were formed by Iod-Havah Elohim [Jehovah Elohim - Binah].

In the Cubic Stone of Yesod, in the Ninth Sphere, Tantric knowledge, the Tantric Initiation comes. The development of the serpent along the dorsal spine is possible by means of the Tantras [by means of the Holy Spirit - Binah].

In these studies of Kabbalah, we need to be practical; there are authors who write marvels, but when one looks at them, one realizes that they have not lived what they have written; they did not experience it in themselves, and that is why they are mistaken. I understand that one must write what one has directly experienced by oneself. I have proceeded in this way for my part. - Samael Aun Weor

Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah,
the Root of David, has prevailed to open the book,
and to loose the seven seals thereof. - Revelation 5: 5

Found the following in the next chapter:

Under another method of classification the Ten Holy
Sephiroth are considered as appearing in each Qabalistic World
upon another arc or level of manifestation; so that just as Ain
Soph Aur, the Limitless Light of the Unmanifest, concentrated
a point, which was Kether, and the emanations worked down
through increasing grades of density to Malkuth, so the Malkuth
of Atziluth is conceived of as giving rise to the Kether of
Briah, and so on consecutively down the planes, the Malkuth
of Briah giving rise to the Kether of Yetzirah, the Malkuth of
Yetzirah giving rise to the Kether of Assiah, and the Malkuth
of Assiah, in its lowest aspect, abutting upon the Qliphoth.

- Dion Fortune in The Mystical Qabalah, page 62, line 2.

Thank you both for your offering of guidance. You work very well together - one offering special insight and complex depth and the other more clear and frank understanding so that one can become more accessible to the former. Thank you!
