We have to die. Anything that constitutes the 'self' needs to be sacrificed on the cross on a daily basis so we can be reborn. But my question.. if everything that makes us an individual is supposed to go, what is left? How are there angels, archangels, dominions, powers, etc. that constitute an hierarchy, with each of them having a role to play? Is it that they still work to die on the cross as well?

When the ego dies, the soul is born. When the soul is born, that soul can incarnate the Intimate Christ through the alchemical work of the cross, and only if that initiate has sacrificed him or herself for humanity.

To understand the role of the angels, divine hierarchy, and levels of being, study the Tree of Life as explained by Samael Aun Weor in The Three Mountains.

Joyful in hope, suffering in tribulation, be thou constant in thy prayer.

Benedictis, qui venit in nomine Domini. Osanna in excelsis.

"Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest!"
