In a recent lecture titled, 'Tree of Life - Kabbalah', the instructor mentions something along these lines; Because of this body and its senses we are given the impression of individuality but when we no longer have this body (death) the sensation of individuality disappears.

Could you please elaborate further on this because I was under the impression that even the lunar vehicles convey a sense of individuality as well. And unless we have created the Solar Bodies, it is the lunar vehicles that one would be operating after death correct?

The lunar bodies are a medium through which the multiplicity of the ego can express. Due to the fact that the astral plane is governed by different laws, and because that region is of a hyper-psychic nature, perception is more direct and subtle. Therefore one can see more in those regions than in the physical plane, since the astral and mental worlds are the origin of this physical plane.

So when a person physically dies, that individual can access a more profound depth of the psyche, and will become more exposed to the multiplicity of the "I," since the ego acts more freely in those dimensions. This is well known within the most submerged infraconscious realms of nature.

The lunar bodies therefore do not convey true individuality, since they are a vehicle for multiplicity. The solar bodies, however, can help us achieve true individuality and afterward, super-individuality, through the incarnation and manifestation of the Intimate Christ. If a person did not create the solar bodies previously, then after death that person subsists with lunar rags.

The vital body does not enter the grave. The vital body floats near the grave and disintegrates slowly as the corpse disintegrates. Only the corpse and the personality of the dead man go to the grave. Samael Aun Weor-Beyond Death

I'm wondering about the Etheric/Vital body since it's the fourth dimensional aspect of the physical, does the energetic body dissipate along with the physical body after death?

Malkuth is a very important Sephiroth, precisely because it is from this point where the initiate can ascend back to God. Malkuth serves as a storehouse of spiritual energies and principles. Much in the same way that circuitry needs grounding in order for electricity to flow, so do we need a physical body for alchemy in order to transmit and return the forces of Christ back to their source.

Those children unbaptized by the fire of the Holy Ghost within limbo, initiates of the minor mysteries, must undoubtedly return to a new physical body precisely for this reason, since it is from having a physical body that we can transmit the energies of the Lord back up the Tree of Life.

I remember many years ago, during a tough period of my life, when I questioned whether one needed a physical body to do the work, I was corrected by Samael Aun Weor within the astral plane that, "The earth stores many treasures yet undiscovered." He showed me caverns filled with gold, and I realized that this gold is precisely our philosophical gold, the spiritual principles of Christ latent within our semen. We need this material body in order to advance, since the treasures of god are within our psyche and our body. What is essential is to take advantage of our life for the good of the great cause: the Being-Partkdolg-Duty mentioned by Master Gurdjieff.

We often hear that obtaining a human body in the physical world is so fortunate, why is this the case? Is there something that cannot be achieved within the internal worlds?

It's also said that there are saints which have not raised their Kundalini but have worked hard in the elimination of their ego's, they are awaiting in Limbo for another opportunity to once again enter into the physical realm to continue the great work, is Alchemy not possible within some spheres and is their work postponed or do they continue working in a different way?
