Hi,

How can we help alcoholics who drink, but also regret a lot of doing so and want to stop.

At first I was thinking on instructing on conservation of sexual force and work on the ego.

Yet later I realised that this idea is ridiculous since applying these things in practice is quite a difficult task even for the aspirants.

The person was introduced to Gnosis multiple times, but produced no reaction.

You can present the gnostic methodology to alcoholics, but that will only be useful if such persons are interested in spirituality and are seeking to change. What will aid an alcoholic most is comprehension. It is not enough to intellectually know alcohol is bad; it is necessary to comprehend how it is destructive to the soul from concrete, vivid, and painful experience. What can aid such persons are programs like Alcoholics Anonymous, which can provide a foundation for more elevated spiritual values. Afterward, such persons could be introduced to knowledge of transmutation, since it is through that energy that real comprehension can be born within. Some people need to take baby steps, and we must learn to respect that. In synthesis, such persons must be willing to try new things and to change fundamentally, since "The only door left to sinners is the door of repentance."

Joyful in hope, suffering in tribulation, be thou constant in thy prayer.

Benedictis, qui venit in nomine Domini. Osanna in excelsis.

"Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest!"
