Hello,

Last week while in mediation I asked my Divine Mother to help me see my past lives. As I got deeper I began to see flashes of like movie clips.I was not looking in a mirror in any of these clips so I don't know what I looked like but I did see the things around me and the clothes that I was wearing and in one of the clips I was riding a horse. This experience only lasted maybe 10 seconds;maybe less. How can I know what is truth from what is a projection of the ego?Since I still have ego.Since then I have tried to have this experience again but have failed.

Meditation will unveil the answer. Study can also give you the background knowledge necessary to interpret Kabbalistic symbolism. But the real work is in quieting the mind, easing the emotions and relaxing the body. Through meditation we can come to comprehend all things: the objectivity or subjectivity of our experience, the wisdom of the ancient scriptures, and our dreams. Study and pray a lot for illumination. By developing discrimination within the consciousness (Dianoia: the third state of consciousness, which in Greek means: "the revision of beliefs" ) and studying the doctrine, you will come to a strong foundation by which to interpret all spiritual experience. As Master Samael Aun Weor would state, this is a balance between being (experience, practice and discipline) and knowledge (intellectual spiritual culture).

Joyful in hope, suffering in tribulation, be thou constant in thy prayer.

Benedictis, qui venit in nomine Domini. Osanna in excelsis.

"Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest!"
