Symbology is the language of the internal world and we need to understand this in order to understand the real of the internal world.

With this in mind would we have a better understanding of the external, three dimensional world if we were to view it symbolically?

For instance say there is a recurring theme in my life, like romantic relationships - could it be that rather than read them merely as failed relationships that they are to be read symbolically? That they were possibly guiding me to live a solitary life in order to follow this path until that time was right to have a proper relationship with someone, or is that just wishful thinking?

Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah,
the Root of David, has prevailed to open the book,
and to loose the seven seals thereof. - Revelation 5: 5
