Am sorry if this sounds like very silly question but I have lot of confusion about directions like clockwise, anticlockwise and NSEW.

For example I keep Mother's photo in east/north/north east. So if I sit in meditation in front of Mother's photo I will be facing east/north/north east.

But then I read that for viparitha karani our head should be in the east or north. Same while sleeping. Or is it that we should be facing east or north? Because "head should be in" and "facing" result in opposite positions. For example I sleep with my head in the north and legs in the south and when I get up and sit down then am facing south. So am I sleeping right? When I get up and sit down am facing south. So should I meditate as is or turn 180 degrees to face north?

Same confusion I have with clockwise, anticlockwise. If am seeing a clock its hands are rotating clockwise for me but for the clock itself hands are rotating from left-to-right which is anticlockwise. So when I have to visualize a chakra I have to visualize a chakra in my body as if I am the clock (clock parallel to the back). So do I imagine the light rotating from my left to right or right to left? Or should I be imagining the chakra perpendicular to the body and look at it (like I look at the clock on the floor) and imagine light moving from right to left?

Thank your in advance for answering a stupid question :)

Your left has to ascend and your right has to descend!

Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah,
the Root of David, has prevailed to open the book,
and to loose the seven seals thereof. - Revelation 5: 5

Thank you. Can you please also mention an image for sleeping position?
