Surely, perfect chastity is not attained by simple means. Although I am chaste in the physical sense and continue working on it with sincerity, I understand I must attain it in the subconscious, unconscious, and infraconscious planes of myself. I realized my being, perhaps my Divine Mother, sets me up with these sexual tests in the astral plane to let me overcome my lust. Recently I've been becoming a little more aware of these events in the astral plane. And I've noticed how my demon of an ego takes complete control and overwhelms me, up to the point of a nocturnal emission. This has happened twice ever since I have been recently focusing on Dream Yoga to take my spiritual journey a step further. I

I feel down when I fail in these sexual tests. How am I aware of it happening, but not able to control myself? Is this my personal karma that I have to deal with? I read the recent article you posted up, "the meditation of Tao." And I will exactly do that is asked of me. When I have followed one of your instructor's suggestion of performing the Eucharist before I sleep (by the way, how important is having a perfumed cloth for the bread?), the act of praying has helped me deeply develop my faith. Slowly, but surely with Thelema, I hope to continue my walk.

Pray, meditate, carry on. Repeat. Seems to be the solution to a lot of issues.

Everything is a process. There is no light without fire, and oftentimes one must be burned in order to learn. The fact that you are not aware in the dream state points to, indicates, and informs you that you must deepen your observation throughout the day. With enough training and control of the mind throughout one's daily activities, the more self-restraint one will have when confronted with the different temptations of the dream state.

The four requisites to be a magician are the following:
  • To know how to suffer
  • To know how to be silent
  • To know how to abstain
  • To know how to die
This is tremendous advice, since these four principles synthesize the work. Fulfill these factors, and you will triumph.

It is good to have a perfumed cloth for the Eucharist, but there is no need to be fanatic, that you can't practice if you don't have incense. Just do your best. The sincerity of the prayer is what matters.

Whenever I face temptation and struggle, I remember the following words from the Initiatic Tarot:
Joyful in hope, suffering in tribulation, be thou constant in thy prayer.
God knows our heart and sincerity. He never abandons us, especially within battle, as it is stated in the Qur'an. Although these struggles may be intense, no one is as powerful as God, for as it is stated in Romans 8:31
If God be with us, who can be against us?

Joyful in hope, suffering in tribulation, be thou constant in thy prayer.

Benedictis, qui venit in nomine Domini. Osanna in excelsis.

"Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest!"
