<p>Hello everyone<br /><br />I made a post here at New Year in regards to making prayer requests and petitions to the being for help and guidance in specific areas of practice. one of the things I requested was to gain a deeper comprehension of Samael Aun Weors books.<br /><br />Samael Aun Weor says,"nothing is given fo free: everything has its price."<br /><br />So if we want to gain that deeper understanding we have to pay for it (this taking into account karma and dharma and not paying someone physically). After hearing the lecture,"The Importance of this Moment", I felt the necessity to try and help others around me so i ordered a few books from amazon and have decided to donate those books to charity shops, second hand book stores etc. But now further down the line I can see that by donating those books to others, this is how I can pay and get that deeper understanding.<br /><br />But if we think about it, if we were to donate a few copies of lets say the book,"Dream Yoga" to different books stores then logically wouldnt this in turn have a positive effect on our understaning of Dream Yoga and our practice. The same applies for ,"The Revolution of the Dialectic" and meditation or, "The Perfect Matrimony", and alchemy.<br /><br />In Glorain news under the section, "Why we print books", it talks about how Samael Aun Weors books are not making it on the shelves of major book companies so people who are unaware of those books wont find them in book stores.<br /><br /><a href="about-us/news.html">http://gnosticteachings.org/about-us/news.html</a><br /><br />But if we could donate those books to second hand book stores or charity shops for free then atleast they are starting to get on the shelves and in that way people who have not heard of gnosis could be introduced to those books. We could also phone up those select store (major book stores) and speak to the manager so as to request a few of Samael Aun Weors books to be put on the shelves.<br /><br />I felt i had to share this with everyone today because if we were to donate just one book to a store and someone were to pick up that book up and start practicing gnosis then thats a huge benefit to that person, an incalculatable benefit.<br /><br />Personally Ive bought two copies of the perfect matrimony and two copies of revolutionary psychology. These are going to two different book stores with each store getting one copy of each book. I'm going to do this maybe every two weeks or so, maybe  increasing the amount of books.<br /><br />In most big cities there are quite alot of these bookstores like oxfam books that accept the books for free and sell them for a cheap price.<br /><br />Thanks</p>

It greatly helps to order books, as you mentioned, through different bookstores like Barnes and Noble. Although we make less money when books are ordered through other bookstores rather than Glorian, it shows booksellers that there is a demand for the literature of Samael Aun Weor. This will draw more attention and interest in getting his writings out to the public domain, since if people are buying his books through their store, they will seek to order more through Glorian Publishing. This will create a worthwhile investment for them to purchase more books from us for their own profit.

Donating books is an excellent endeavor. But it can be costly if you do so on a continuous basis. Everyone has to find their way of sacrificing for humanity, of helping others with this knowledge. For some it is teaching; others, donations; and others still, giving books and literature from our tradition that can provide the techniques to acquire genuine, lasting happiness.

It is my opinion that the best way to give books is to people you know who have demonstrated an interest and sincerity in learning this knowledge. Otherwise it can be difficult for the one rare person to walk into a bookstore, pick up a work by the Master, and to subsequently begin practicing out of a serious yearning and spiritual inquietude. This is not to say that this is impossible, but it is perhaps more practical to donate books to people whom you know and who you know will benefit most from your donation.

Book clubs are excellent for spreading the knowledge, if you know how to advertise for such meetings and have some skill in teaching or directing a group. What matters is that you have some experience with this knowledge and teach/share from what you know. You can invite friends, family or whomever you intuitively feel is prepared to receive this kind of wisdom. There are many ways to help, and we all have to discover our own particular idiosyncrasy, skills and stellar inheritance, or the manner and means in which we act and sacrifice in accordance with our Being.

Joyful in hope, suffering in tribulation, be thou constant in thy prayer.

Benedictis, qui venit in nomine Domini. Osanna in excelsis.

"Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest!"

Thanks for your reply

to be honest to id ont really know anyone who is interested in thsi stuff. my mum is vaguely interested an meditates now and then but thats about it.

I know aht you mean in regards to donating it to specific people who are interested in this stuff but since i dont know anyone I feel the best methjod of donation would be to donate to charity shops. Do you think that this will just be a complete waste of time.
