The greater my wisdom, the greater my grief. To increase knowledge only increases sorrow- Solomon Son Of King David, Ecclesiastes 1:18

-Through my understanding, the clarification of gaining Wisdom/Chokmah is to escape the wheel of suffering/Samsara, it is to escape pain, grief, and sorrow and most of all the "I" ego. But here the Master Solomon states something contrary to what I thought/comprehended: this I have came with the conclusion that this is not something literally, meaning meditation is needed so you can perceive it in an Esoteric manner, and really understand what this great master of the proverbs is saying. To quote master Samael: "Meditate daily. Meditation is the daily bread of the wise. With Meditation you will develop Supraconsciousness."-The Perfect Matrimony. So if any Instructor can perceive the real meaning to this beautiful Text, that I would appreciate.:o

Thank You for Everything.

Solomon represents the final alchemical stage of Adam, the human soul.

It is written:

And Iod-Havah Elohim [Binah, the Holy Spirit] took Adam [Solomon, SOL & MOON], and put him into [the Kingdom] the Garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.

And Iod-Havah Elohim commanded Adam [Solomon], saying, of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. – Genesis 2: 15-17

And when the woman [the Moon] saw that [sex] the tree was good for food, and that it was [Nahemad] pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took [את ath] of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto [the Sun, Sol] her husband with her; and he did eat. Genesis 3: 6

And He drove out [Solomon] Adam and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubim, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of [Chokmah] the tree of life. - Genesis 3: 24

Rabbi Eleazar said. We do not know who drove him out, nor who it was that was driven out, whether the Holy One [Chokmah] or not. The words are ‘vaigaresh ath’ (and he drove out את ath). Who was this He? The scripture says ‘ha-Adam’. After sinning [fornicating] it was Adam who drove out here below who is here called את ‘ath’ [the Logos, the Word, Chokmah, symbolized by the first and last letters of the Kabbalistic Alphabet].

Therefore Scripture first informs us:

Therefore Iod-Havah Elohim drove Adam from out of the Garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. – Genesis 3: 23

Iod-Havah Elohim drove Adam from out of the Garden of Eden, as he had already [fornicated] driven away the את 'ath' (Chokmah, the Son, the Logoic Creative Force of the Holy Spirit) when Eden became closed to him, and the path leading to it obliterated or hidden.

Scripture, moreover, states, 'and he placed at the east of the Garden of Eden, Cherubim and a flaming sword which turned every way to keep the way of the tree of life.' These words allude to angels appointed to chastise the sins and transgressions of Adam. Numberless are the various forms under which they appear. At times they take on them the male or female human form. Again their aspect is similar to flaming fire, and at other times it is impossible to define or describe their manifestations. Their duty and office is to keep the way of [Chokmah] the tree of life and prevent [fornicator] men from acquiring and adding to that occult knowledge which [because of fornication] has brought him or resulted in so great misery and misfortune [karma].

By a flaming sword is denoted those angels who [through the blood stream] are charged with casting fire upon the heads of the wicked and wrongdoers.

Rabbi Yehudah Said: "The flaming sword denotes all those angels or elementals who [through the blood stream] tempt and corrupt men through their thoughts, desires and affections so that they fall into sin and forsake the path of righteousness. It is notable that as soon as anyone [fornicates] sins he falls under the power and influence of the evil spirit or elemental that [through the blood stream] has succeeded in seducing him, and becomes filled with fear and terror and horrid despair, and thus unable to resist and overcome.

I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. – Genesis 3: 10

Solomon was endowed with much wisdom and had acquired a vast amount of occult knowledge [Objective Reasoning], and the Holy One had exalted him to be a king amongst men and to be regarded with awe and reverence by everyone.

On his giving way and becoming the slave of desire, he fell under the power of these evil spirits who divested and disrobed him of all his enlightened intellectual gifts and endowments, so that he feared and trembled before them and thus became an illustrative example of the misery and unhappiness of those who [through fornication] swerve from the right path by giving way to tempting desires and animal or carnal propensities and inclinations. - Zohar

Any resurrected Malachim acquire wisdom by comprehending their good and evil and by paying their own Karma, Karmasaya and Kamaduro. Now, if after acquired Chokmah-Wisdom the Malachim wish to increase their knowledge of good and evil, the Malachim then have to descend or to fall from Eden into Malkuth and ascend again. By doing so, they acquire more karma to their fate.

And since Solomon was a resurrected Malachim, when he fornicated, he added more grief [karma] to his fate. Cycles of transmigration centuries of much pain await the wretched one who drives the creative force of Chokmah out from their particular Eden.

For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that [after resurrection wishes to] increase knowledge increases sorrow. – Ecclesiastes 1: 18

Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah,
the Root of David, has prevailed to open the book,
and to loose the seven seals thereof. - Revelation 5: 5
