14 Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.
15 See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.
16 Rejoice evermore.
17 Pray without ceasing.
18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
19 Quench not the Spirit.
20 Despise not prophesyings.
21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
22 Abstain from all appearance of evil.
23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
24 Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.
25 Brethren, pray for us.
26 Greet all the brethren with an holy kiss.
27 I charge you by the Lord that this epistle be read unto all the holy brethren.
28 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
It has been asked frequently, about the Master's advice for women to abstain from all transmutative practices during pregnancy, what the precise reason for this is. Why did the Master answer in this way in that lecture of importance to women? What is the negative impact of stimulating the ever-present sexual energy while gestating the child?
It is out of ignorance, not arrogance, that this question is being asked. It seems one can research the Master's works with intensity and come up with nothing that might hint (to the ignorant) the exact reason.
We can only think of two reasons why the proposed question has not received an answer from the instructors. Either the answer is contained within the second or third chamber teachings, or the instructors simply do not know the answer. In either case, a response is warranted. It seems that up to this point, the only response has been to repeat verbatim the words spoken by the Master in that lecture of which we speak. We have studied the Master's books intensely and in no way does this seem to be a course of response that the Master would condone. Perhaps the Master was wrong about this particular question or perhaps the Master was answering based on a personal experience. In any case, it would seem appropriate that if the instructors have no knowledge of such information to state that plainly. And if they do have the information, but have sworn an oath to protect it from the ignorant, this also should be stated plainly.
It is clear that in any interaction between the seekers of Gnosis on this forum, ego will certainly be involved. It would be a mistake to all students and instructors (which are the same thing) to allow that to be a hindrance to the development of self knowledge for any of us. We are all working at our own particular level, and to hold that against us would be cruel. All we as seekers of Gnosis can do is be as honest with each other (and ourselves) as possible. If honestly reveals an ego, all the better.
It is with great thankfulness and sincerity that I write this post. The goal of this post is not to expose an individual, but only to expose the Truth.
