Upon reevaluating what I described in my 1st post "Masculinity and Presence" I now have a different view on what happened. When I first began to do awareness exercises, I simply began to perceive. All perceptions were equalized, none more special than the other. Looking back, I now know that what I experienced was the realization that I was not the body, emotions nor the mind. I felt the emptiness that an instructor mentioned in the last podcast. "The importance of this moment".

Now this left me in shock, since I only did this for about 5 days. Just simply being aware placed me on the opposite side of the spectrum, from being attached driven and goal oriented, to being completely detached! Emotions would come and go, thoughts would come and go, and bodily feelings would come and go.

I must confess, I feel like I'm making a huge no no. Reading introduction to Gnosis, by The Master Samuel, and listening to the podcast simultaneously. I feel like 2 polarities are being presented to me. In the first few pages of the first degree the master talks about what resonated with me the most, "Success". Then the podcasts show me the other extreme Chastity, Humility, and the seriousness of this existence. I feel like I either have to be successful or be a monk.

Now, I've only dedicated myself to Gnosis since this past Christmas, and I've had out of body experiences. Recently I was given a lecture by a Spiritual Master that I hold in high esteem. He comforted me, and through this is experience, I'm beginning to have Gnosis about balancing these two polarities that I'm describing.

I now experienced that I am the perceiver, and not the percived. That I am not only body, emotions, and mind; but that I am so much more. I feel that as I begin to develop my awareness the next obvious step will be the following: instead of letting all perceptions come and go, just let the bad ones go and hold on to the good ones. Then I will achieve balance. Balance for me is to be a spiritual being, and to accomplish what is my destiny. I guess I'm just learning how to be a Perciever, and take hold of the body, the emotions, and the mind.

You see, reality has been showing me for some time now, that I have major capabilities to sing professional Opera. A prestigious Maestro who studied along side of Luciano Pavarotti and who taught Placido Domingo how to sing told me that I am very talented; and that with the proper technique I would undoubtedly be a great Tenor. These opportunities are arising. I'm begining to realize that all the great singers that I look up to have moved into their role as Perceiver to some extent.

I feel like typed alot. Any response is greatly appreciated. The URL to my first post was added.

Opera is truly a divine art form that utilizes the sacred word, verb or logos. It is am amalgamation of drama, theater and music that truly enriches the soul. Samael Aun Weor discussed an experience he had in a temple of the Jinn State at the end of The Perfect Matrimony, where an angel dictated an opera about the seven root races of this planet. He said to hear opera from an angel is unforgettable.

Such statements reaffirm the beauty, wisdom and knowledge of the sacred masters of music. Wagner stated that through art, all men are saved, and Beethoven, the great Bodhisattva, declared with titanic passion in his heart, "He who understands my music shall never know unhappiness again." Therefore, to follow music and opera as a profession is truly a gift and service to humanity, since such music is a balm of reconciliation and atonement in the soul. If you have that gift and the means to pursue that as a career, may God bless you!

Joyful in hope, suffering in tribulation, be thou constant in thy prayer.

Benedictis, qui venit in nomine Domini. Osanna in excelsis.

"Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest!"
