Question is about a verse in the Gospel of Thomas below:

Jesus said, "Let him who seeks continue seeking until he finds. When he finds, he will become troubled. When he becomes troubled, he will be astonished, and he will rule over the All."

What does this verse mean?

And when it says he will rule over the All, how does he do this? Through prayer or something?

Help would be great thanks!
There are several versions of this text. Others are interpreted as:

Jesus said, "Let the one seeking not stop seeking until he finds. And when he finds he will marvel, and marveling he will reign, and reigning he will rest."

This simply explains how by discovering how to awaken consciousness, one becomes a ruler over the mind, and thereby finds peace.
