Nowadays the capitalism system domains most of the world (like the porn media) where the individual must work at least 10 hours a day to get well paid and live well, unlike the past in fifties and sixties and before these times (where Samael was living and of course what was former not even talking about monks of Buddhism and Yogis who they have a lot of spare time as all their time is) so there is a time of studying and applying the techniques and try to rebel against ourselves psychologically. Now I am jobless so I can read the articles and lectures and try to apply practically.

But when I was working and anybody works all over the world (especially USA and the West) now. I had so little time to study or mediate and the progress spiritually would be longer and harder.

Samael said at least four to six hours of meditation must be done daily, one sleeps for instant 6 hours a day at least then he works like 10 hours -average- then he eats and having so little fun to refresh the soul from boring so there won't be at most 3 hours for studying and meditating and techniques !

This time is not like the past and we have to be more practical, we are not priests in the church where our job and salary are in the church and we are not monks so we don't eat on grass and some animals and live in the forest or the desert ! we have jobs and some have families and getting life of 2013 so how we could meditate 6 hours and in the morning and afternoon and in the evening ?!

One should have vocation, right? we are living in this era and no time to be like we should be in Gnostic tradition, Please solve this problem and good that you are from America so that you feel what I feel.

This is precisely one of the major problems aspirants face in the West. The solution is to practice as much as one can in accordance with daily responsibilities, and to sacrifice the little free time one has in order to fulfill one's esoteric discipline instead of engaging in senseless activities like video games, television, etc. It is the boon and the bane of Western occultists to have such a challenge; the Western occultist who knows how to transform him or herself with such a busy lifestyle will have much greater willpower than the yogi who renounces the world and lives in the woods. What it takes is patience, force, and great tenacity.

What is more important is that the disciple remain mindful in every moment of his or her life, then every practice will become more empowered. What matters is quality more than quantity. Although a serious disciple of Gnosis should be practicing all the time, karma may not allow one to have enough free time to practice as one should desire. However, we have to work with where we are at: that is what matters most. As the Prophet Muhammad stated in the Hadith, God does not look for the great amount of prayer one cannot do, but at the little that one can do, and with great perseverance, discipline, consistency and faith.

Joyful in hope, suffering in tribulation, be thou constant in thy prayer.

Benedictis, qui venit in nomine Domini. Osanna in excelsis.

"Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest!"

Thanks so much but could you refer to me please the books and lectures that explains the meaning of being mindful, vigil, (observing one's self) or living from moment to moment etc as I don't know if a bad thought came to my mind from the ego how would I watch without involving ? I know from my childhood that we shouldn't think of any bad thought and avoid it but how can I watch a lustful thought without getting affected in order to comprehend the reason of it ? sure I will desire sex and the same in anger sure I will hate that person etc.

I want to know every thing please about how to be a mirror to my thoughts and actions without being affecting or judging or indulged.

Seeing you in the astral plane :)

Regards
