And Adam [the brain] knew Eve his [genitalia, his] wife; and [through fornication] she conceived, and bore Cain [Chaos].....And she again bore his brother Abel [הבל]. - Genesis 4: 1, 2

הבל Habel or Abel means breath and vanity; in the Bible הבל Abel symbolizes our soul or psyche

It is written: הבל הבלים Habel Habelim = Vanity of vanities

Vanity of vanities, said the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity.
What profit has a man of all his labor which he takes under the sun?
I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and, behold, all is vanity and harmful spirit. – Ecclesiastes 1: 2, 3, 14

Meaning: One breath [Chesed] with two breaths [Geburah and Tiphereth] make one preacher, which has two breaths [Netzach and Hod] in one breath [Yesod], all of them within one breath [Malkuth]. I have seen all the works that are done under the solar breath and behold all is breath and harmful spirit.

In order to organize any life in the universe, the three Solar Breaths – Kether, Chokmah and Binah - of any cosmic unity, create seven breaths, namely: Gedulah, Geburah, Tiphereth, Netzach, Hod, Yesod and Malkuth. In the true human being these seven breaths become seven organized soul bodies. Thus, the law of seven is necessary for the organization of the cognizance in the universe and in the human being. Therefore, each one of the seven breaths or lower Sephiroth has necessarily these seven breaths for the organization of their constitution, so, “all is vanity”.

However, when these seven breaths are disorganized or in chaos, they then act correspondingly as seven adverse breaths or vanities within any Klipoth or Hell, in other words, they become 49 disorganized chaotic breaths. Every karmic judgment in the universe radiates from them. The psyche or these adverse vanities or imprisoned breaths is punished and corrected in Klipoth in order to ensure that these breaths or consciousness will eventually walk the path of righteousness.

Ecclesiastes call each one of these Klipothic breaths ‘a vanity [breath or soul] in which there is an evil disease', and vexation of spirit; and ‘a vanity [breath or soul] which is striving after the solar spirit'. Moreover, [Apollo] the solar spirit – Kether, Chokmah and Binah - within each one of these 49 disorganized breaths becomes destructive [Apollyon].

There is an evil which I have seen [in Klipoth] under [the regency of] the sun, and it is common among [three-brained or three-centered biped] men: A [Cain, three-brained or three-centered biped] man to whom Elohim has given riches, wealth, and honor, so that he wanted nothing for his soul [or breath - Abel] of all that he desires, yet Elohim gives him not power to eat thereof, but strangers eat it: this is [Klipothic] vanity [or breath], and it is an evil disease. - Ecclesiastes 6: 1, 2

Cain was a laborer of the ground.

When thou labor the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shall thou be in the earth. And Cain said unto Iod-Havah, My punishment is greater than I can bear. Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that every one that finds me shall slay me. And Iod-Havah said unto him, Therefore whosoever slays Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. – Genesis 4: 12-15

Therefore, the 49 level of the subconsciousness are sevenfold vanities that spread from each one of these sevenfold vanities within the three-brained or three-centered bipeds. The universe exists and is maintained by Klipoth by means all of these evil vanities.

Question: Master, you have mentioned 49 regions in the subconsciousness, and frankly let me tell you that it is the first time that I have heard about the subconsciousness having such a number of regions. All the treatises of psychology, parapsychology, and psychoanalysis where the processes of the consciousness, subconsciousness, and infraconsciousness, etc. are mentioned and studied do not mention these 49 divisions or regions that you mention. Why is this so?

Samael Aun Weor: Respectable gentlemen and ladies who listen to me, it is convenient for us to remember the septenary constitution of the authentic human being. Nonetheless, the three-brained or three-centered bipeds mistakenly called human beings only possess subconscious and subjective states, since they have not awakened their consciousness yet, and since they have not created the existential bodies of the Being. So, multiply the septuple aspect by itself and you will have the 49 subconscious regions of every humanoid. Obviously, when we awaken the consciousness, these 49 subconscious and subjective states become cognizant. Thus, only then, will we have objectivity, an integral cognizance.

We need to transform the subconsciousness into consciousness. This is only possible by disintegrating the psychic aggregates that constitute the ego, the myself, the self-willed. Let us remember that the consciousness is bottled up within such aggregates. Thus, when these aggregates are disintegrated, the consciousness awakens as an outcome.

Lust, fornication in the submerged circle of Mercury underneath the terrestrial crust, is indeed the very foundation, the basis of the existential ego.
