The devil is present when we practice alchemy with our spouse.. We are not masters, so there is a lot of lust.. What should we do in those moments when we are engulfed in flames? Observe? Indulge and observe? Hermes says, "...gentle heat, with much attention." This is very difficult because then it feels like we are repressing our filthy lust.
