Is there a difference between CHAKRAS and CHURCHES?
They are essentially the same thing but in differing degrees. Chakra means "wheel" or "disc" and signifies the primordial or embryonic form of a kind of transformer of energy. Any intersection of nerves (nadis) can be called a "chakra." Of course, there are specific ones that are more important in relation to awakening consciousness. Those who work in Sexual Magic not only activate the basic chakras, but as the kundalini rises those chakras are radically expanded and grown, resulting in the activation of the Churches (which means "gathering place").

The third degree of the power of fire totally Christifies the Astral body and totally opens the chakras of the Astral body.
The chakras in common and ordinary people are only the senses of their animal-soul. Their chakras are intimately related with the psychic-biological functions of their human organism. The tattvas enter through the chakras and then into our endocrine glands; the endocrine glands then transform the tattvas into hormones.
So, the Astral chakras are the gates of entry for the tattvas.
However when the Astral body is Christified by means of the third degree of the power of fire, then the seven chakras are transformed into the seven churches to which the Book of Revelation (Apocalypse) refers.
We stated in our book entitled The Revolution of Beelzebub that the seven churches are found located within the Soul-Spirit or Body of the Consciousness, this is how it is; nevertheless, when the third degree of the power of fire opens the Astral chakras, these are then transformed into the very seven churches.
