Good afternoon,
My Mother is undergoing chemotherapy, for Pancreatic cancer. Studying Gnostism is really helping me to deal with, face and learn to accept death. However, my parents, although they might describe themselves as Christian, they are only so in a cultural sense and are not practising. Due to my past, having had an addiction the heroin for 20 years, and also being considered a "conspiracy theorist", my parents dont overly take me seriously. If I were to bring up the subject of Gnostism, or the process of dying, or preparing for death, or how to have a good death-they wouldn't take me seriously at all. Thats ok, but my question is-will they be ok, after their death or are they going to suffer? I understand this isn't a "yes" or "no" question, but I just wondered what your thoughts are?
Many thanks...
Darren
