I'm reading an unabridged complete volume of his . I believe he was a gnostic. His stories are so full of symbolism. I recommend reading them.

I love fairy tales as well, especially The Wizard of Oz, Alice in Wonderland, Through the Looking Glass, and Pinocchio. These are all profound Kabbalistic stories. :)
