Eph 2:8
Often while trying my hardest to give some understanding (with the little that I have)to friends, born again christians etc, they always quote
Eph 2:8-9 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God:Not of works, lest any man should boast."
They say say they are "saved by grace. What they do does not matter" They believe that Jesus's death took away all their sins and that they dont have to do the work(meditate/annihilate).. They interpret "It is Done"- to mean, "you are saved" How can I explain this in a better way? They dont understand the true meaning of Faith. Should I just give up?
