First of all, I’m aware of a fall versus a descent; although some years ago, I had read that Samael Aun Weor said or wrote that Jesus intentionally fell six times, that is in order to achieve Mastery seven times.
Is that true?

Also it was said—if I remember correctly—that this was to attain more perfections at each time of falling and then following the Path again; and that the limit of this, is doing it seven times, where at the end of the seventh time, there can be nothing more to do

Jesus fell before, but whether or not this was intentional each time is unclear. You would have to internally ask him about his process.

As I’d said, I’m not sure if the implication of this was mentioned in The Three Mountains or The Pistis Sophia, or perhaps The Devil, Hell, and Karma; but it was mentioned—likely on the old forum—by one of the direct students of Samael Aun Weor. I don’t think the one who has given audio lectures via Glorian.org (possibly though).
Maybe I’m taking something out of context by using the word “intentionally”; however I clearly remember something about this. If you don’t remember what book of Samael’s the mentioning of this process comes from; does another instructor recall? I’d like to at least see the book that mentions this for now….

Alexis explained in a lecture that souls gain nothing after purifying themselves back into the elemental kingdom, but you explained to me that the soul always gains some wisdom with each successive transmigration. With this in mind, it seems to be that the monad creates a kind of narrative for the soul with a pre-determined number of transmigration cycles within samsara? I don't like this idea as it seems cruel to have to go through the wheel a select amount of times.
The Absolute respects the free will of its Monads. Not all Monads want mastery. Therefore, it would be cruel for the Eternal Cosmic Common Father, Aelohim or Seity, to force every Monad to do this work against their will.
What happens is that Monads without mastery acquire some level of happiness and knowledge, but insignificant compared to an Elohim. To disintegrate within the inferno is easy. The knowledge acquired from it is nothing compared to entering initiation. Therefore, we do not recommend devolution.
