An instructor mentioned that before one takes the Oath to enter the path of Initiation, one has to meet face to face with Melchizedek! Why is that a necessity?

Melchizedek is the logos of our Earth. Therefore, anyone who enters initiation on this planet must answer to him in accordance with initiatic hierarchy.
