Hi. I was wondering what the point of siddhis are. Things like Laghima and anima. To me, they seem like superpowers befitting a superhero. I mean, even if a yogi obtains siddhis, what is he supposed to do with them? Why do devas give the ability to minimise a person's size? Or the ability to fly around like Superman? I do not see any yogis performing stunts such as superman or Iron-man. So, why?

In the path of the Being's self-realization, the consciousness must learn how to master every aspect of our constitution, including the physical and internal. While these powers might seem arbitrary and silly to our mind, they demonstrate competence and complete control of one's possibilities and experience.

Samael Aun Weor was once in the back of a car that almost got into an accident. The car spun out of control and nearly crashed, but did not. When the other occupants of the vehicle looked in the back seat, Samael Aun Weor had shrunk into an incredibly tiny size, like a Lilliputian. The Innermost Being, the Archangel Samael, was protecting His bodhisattva because he had a serious mission to complete. These powers come in handy when they are absolutely needed.
