A very successful trader and politician friend of mine uses astrology to guide his financial decisions such as trades and investments. He says it goes hand in hand with Gnosticism and when one achieves self realization he can analyze planets and gravitational shifts (not sure if that is the correct term) to guide macro trading i.e. higher level financial decisions.
